I just want to take a moment and wish a very Merry Christmas to all the folks in my alternate reality here on MDB where people can actually read, think, and make sense. Well, most of them.
And also another thank you for those of you who have taught me this year. The Biscotti Queen spent the day in the kitchen and everything is ready to go for tomorrow. No Candlelight service tonight as a family. 
Thank you, pandemic. Christmas brunch has been moved up to dinner. I'm not even sure I'll unmask to eat. Who knows? 
I am not feeling very wordy right now, so forgive. I spent most of the day toggling between joy, cynicism, and sadness. Happy for another Christmas, wondering if it will be our last one. Feeling thankful for what we have and horrible for folks who are in need while our government turns a blind eye. I feel like I haven't helped anyone although I know I was able to do a few good turns during this period of relative isolation. I feel so jerked around and I want off this roller coaster.
It's been so peaceful out here in the forest today. I thought I'd share a few glimpses if anyone cares to see.
