Glad you got to go on your trip and have apparently escaped unscathed. Welcome back!

I guess because I was oxygen deprived. Now I’m in the hospital so no worries.

No, I asked to be tested and came back negative. I went in to get electrical cardioverted they kept me for observation overnight, and during that time they discovered that I had a mild case of bronchitis. Now on short term course of steroids...I don't do well on those. Had to delete and then rewrite this post because the first version was crazy...did I mention I don't do well on steroids? ;)

Since states have different mixes of old and young people, and Covid kills old people at *much* higher rates than young people, do you think the numbers should be adjusted to account for which states have more old people?

What an experience! I went into the ER in the very throes of adjustment to altitude with AFIB in the wee hours and I mean, wee. :o In the hospital for 2 full days and discharged with supplemental oxygen! Feeling much better now.

Long story short (I am not sure if I posted about this) my sister had mentioned before I left that she had just finished a second course of steroids for bronchitis. Uh oh...apparently (according to the ER docs I saw) she could have infected me with viral bronchitis. :o

crap. crap. crap.

So I had that on top of the AFIB and on top of the adjustment.

Anyway I appear to be alive now though not entirely risen yet. :) And...covid free!

Upside: The hospitals here have amazing food. I got a piece of cheesecake each day!

Thanks very much! I don't know how much longer I need this oxygen. I've named the hose Nagini.

As in...Nagini. Come.
