Ajax and Alex Jones helped incite the insurrection

I still can't get over Ajax's defense of Alex Jones, where he insists that Jones condemns the insurgence at the capital.
Ajax wrote:Are you aware Alex Jones was screaming at these idiots who stormed the capital to stop? What they did will give the left ammo to quelch conservative speech for decades to come. It was a disgrace and I do blame them. I blame them for you pivoting on the topic of the OP right now.
Alex Jones, Ajax and subs, and every "stop the steal"-level Trump supporter is guilty of triggering the fail-surrection. All of you participated.

Alex Jones has been predicting civil war for years. His many references to civil war even include videos of he and others shooting guns in"preparation for civil war". But Jones is clear in these articles that it's "The Left" who will start the Civil War.

...but what exactly does Jones mean by "The Left" "starting it"?

On Jan 6 of this year, President Trump literally told his base to go cause trouble at the capital in any way they saw fit, including violence. He did that through subtext. To understand Trump's MO with "stop the steal" and his continuing attempt at a coup, including the fail-surrection, consider Trump's manner on the golf course. From Golf.com:

Trump cheats at golf.
golf.com wrote:I played with him once,” says Bryan Marsal, longtime Winged Foot member and chair of the coming 2020 Men’s U.S. Open. “It was a Saturday morning game. We go to the first tee and he couldn’t have been nicer. But then he said, ‘You see those two guys? They cheat. See me? I cheat. And I expect you to cheat because we’re going to beat those two guys today.’… So, yes, it’s true, he’s going to cheat you. But I think Donald, in his heart of hearts, believes that you’re gonna cheat him, too.
"Those guys are going to cheat us at golf, so we'd better cheat them first!"
"The Democrats are going to cheat in the election, so we'd better cheat too!"
"The Democrats will start a Civil War, so we'd better...!"

ah, there it is.

And Ajax totally gets it and is onboard. When Doc Cam asked him about the coming Civil war a few days ago, Ajax responded:
Ajax wrote:I won't be fighting for an ethnostate or any race. Once the socialist are driven off my land and out of my paycheck, I'll be content. Tyrannical majorities can be fought. In this case it's not even a majority. Without voter fraud the left would not have won this election.
If you skim through the link I provided to the SLC Tribune documenting Alex Jones' many predictions of the Left starting Civil War, you'll see it could be anything from a random shooting blamed on the Left, to a policy Jones doesn't like that "starts the war". For Ajax, the socialists responsible for his high taxes and stealing the election have "started the war". Because of this, they must be "driven from his land" through battle (fighting).

What do Alex Jones and Ajax think the rioters at the capital were doing? How many times did we hear them yell, "This is our house!" -- referring to the capital. Alex Jones, Ajax, and the rioters at the capital are all on the exact same page. The rioters did exactly what Ajax told Cam needed to be done, "fight...drive them off my land...because taxes and voter fraud".

Alex Jones had this guy, Carlos Zapata on his show
Zapata wrote:Without the threat of physical violence, our words are empty ... By calling for violence, am I saying, 'Hey, let's go kill people?' Absolutely not, and I never have ... But I am saying that we're at the point now where we have to consider the threat of violence to protect ourselves
Sound familiar? We better cheat at Golf because those other guys are clearly ready to!
TMZ wrote:Zapata had some choice words about the Capitol riots ... "People say, Oh, man, those people at the Capitol, they were violent. That's un-American ... I'm like, the most American thing they could have done is burned that f***** down."
Do Ajax and Jones really feel all that differently? All we've heard about for years is Civil War and the second amendment, and fighting the left with guns. Why wouldn't Zapata feel this way? How would Alex Jones feel about it if it had been successful? wouldn't he be trumpeting the fulfillment of 197 prophecies he's made over the years? Isn't he only condemning it because it was amateurish and it failed? Ajax, had they succeeded with violence and forced Pence to overturn the election and confirm Trump for his second term, wouldn't you have been ecstatic?

All you and Jones, not to mention the President, have done for years is call for violence (a lot of this violence is intertwined with the Second Amendment, and the belief that guns will save the republic), the violence came, and you continue to call for violence by the subtext of you say, the way you claim deniability, and doubling down on the wrongs you've manufactured that can only logically be redressed by violence. If the election was stolen, then Democracy is over, this is the last stand, fight now, or stay silent. Don't be surprised when your right-wing brothers do exactly what you've predicted and hoped that they will do. They just haven't done it successfully.

That's a pretty good analysis.

I regularly debate myself on ajax's motivation. I usually think he's belligerently lying, but sometimes I wonder if what he's saying is just wrong, that's he's been misinformed.

The problem is that he's inconsistent and illogical, and we have massive evidence that he doesn't absorb information if he doesn't like it. So what is really going on? Is he willfully ignorant, or is he absorbing the facts and just lying about them anyway, because he thinks it irritates his perceived enemies, and “F” leftists?

There's something in the hardcore Trump supporter DNA that screams "irrational belligerence." I'm not sure how else to describe it.

Oh, and by the way, you absolutely nailed it with, "They're going to cheat, so let's do it first." That is the perfect distillation of the GOP mindset.

Agreed! That has become increasingly obvious from the earliest days of the Trump administration. It is both sad and amazing to me how many of Trump's supporters either can't see that themselves, or actually seem to embrace that mindset.

I'm picking up what you're laying down. Here I called it "obstinate ignorance" when describing the jenius:

No. He doesn’t. He doesn’t read enough to overcome his obstinate ignorance and terminal case of disevidentia. He can hang for a sentence or two, but it must be able to be consumed with a quick thumbscroll. That’s why memes are so effective with him. He’s literally as stupid as he appears to be. Stop trying to ascribe ‘4d chess’ to him.

It's a deliberate act to stay insulated in a bubble, and then visit a discussion board to make statements instead of seeking discourse.

Yep, that is another good way to describe it. There's a self-righteousness to their willful ignorance, like being a idiot is a badge of honor.

Gad makes a good point -

He’s absolutely right.
