Well, as a foreigner watching the occasion live, I thought that was pretty damn inspiring for an inaugural speech!

I hope you can all make it to where you need to be as a nation in the months and years ahead!

Props to Amanda Gorman, who gave an excellent recitation. Pretty cool version of the Anthem by Lady Gaga, as well. No meat dress for her today, though.

It’s going to be nice to have some normalcy in the House, again.

It was great to see my President speaking in complete sentences again.

Trump was I alone can fix it. Biden said it will take all of us, and it will.

Biden's tone was not big and braggadocious. It was small, almost too small for my taste. But I think he wanted to leave people with the sense that he was there to cool the passions of the moment.

We are the oldest democracy in the world. We have come through many trials. We look at our history and think we will prevail, because we always have prevailed. Because we always have prevailed should be written on the tombstone of every great civilization.

We have to realize is that the crisis we are facing are existential. Our history takes us to the end of the path. We must make our own path from here. The guarantor of success is not our history, it is our actions.

My wife came home from work, turned on the inaugural coverage and has been weeping tears of joy ever since. It's a good day to be an American. At least, it's a better day for America than any other in the previous four years.

Watching the QAnoners melt down over this on their message boards is incredibly satisfying.

Thanks, Chap! I feel like there are not enough descriptive words to keep up with the feelings I have, but I assure you that the profundity of the day was not missed by me. I appreciated the sane example of following of pandemic guidelines. The spaces in the gathering made it all easier to see, less noisy and more able for us to take in. The ceremony was calm, peaceful, and deliberate. After four years of increasingly feeling like we were locked in a room by our abusive father who beat us on a regular basis, starved us and left nearly half a million of us for dead with no way out, it was a much welcomed relief.

There is no question in my mind but that we have got us a President who is exactly the right man we need in this moment. A godly man of character, integrity, faith, humility, deep empathy, wisdom, and the experience and know how to do the work. But as he said he can't do it alone. It's an all hands on deck situation and I believe that as American citizens, we need to reach out and lift, Lift, LIFT, until we are on our feet again. And I believe we will be.

I think many or most of us will sleep well tonight unworried about what we'll see in the news tomorrow. Just knowing that what we do see will be the beginning fruits of a stable man who is able and ready to help us move forward. One snapshot that stood out for me today was a seemingly small one, but it was when President Biden was walking to the White House and ran to the sides to greet the press and said to one, "Hey man, how ya doing? Long time, no see".

I loved it. We are in good hands. LIFT.

It fascinates me how Leftists celebrate Tyranny...

For example, the Biden Admin is mandating that "Women" are now to be second-class citizens, that biological males have the "right" to compete against them in sports, which is NOT a level playing field at all.

We see yet again Leftists taking away "others" Rights, in order to give rights to another group.
- We saw it with Abortion, the taking of innocent human life, the ending of an independent life-form, a baby, with it's OWN body, it's OWN DNA, it's OWN Bloodtype etc. in the name of "women's rights".

- We saw it with Marriage, infringing on the Rights of Heterosexuals and the Religious, by co-opting a Sacred Ordinance against the rights and wishes of the above, turning the word Marriage into a "generic" word when that word already existed "Union", changing its definition and meaning. Instead of creating a NEW WORD and definition to describe their NEW type of Union, all in the name of "gay rights".

- Now we see it with Transgenders, Women's rights being infringed on by biological males in the name of "giving rights" to those who "identify" as female. Over and over again without fail we see biological men beating women in sport, be it running, wrestling, etc. And to be clear, it happens almost without fail. They are also beating female sport records also.

It sickens me too, to see the great "women's rights champion" above Jersey Girl being perfectly fine celebrating people who take away basic human rights.
