Again.... Yesterday according to FOX we had the best economy the world has ever known and today it is the worst according to FOX. The second Biden was sworn in, their agenda changed and now every bad thing they ignored during Trump will be highlighted and blamed on Biden.

Today unemployment numbers go back to being fake and the federal deficit becomes the greatest threat to our existence since January 19, 2016. Mexicans crossing the border become an existential threat to the American way of life, etc.

Hmmm... Wall Street thinks stimulus will help the economy? They are betting on the Democrats' economic policies, knowing full well the Democrats have the congressional power needed to pass bills? The devil, you say?!

The stock market knows that recovery or not, "stimulus" spending will help stocks in the short term, however, the stock market already knew that Biden won the election and that Democrats won the Senate, and so all of that should already be factored into stock prices. So what new information did the stock market have today that it didn't have yesterday?

Trump is gone. The stock market has been kicking Trump's ass out the door for weeks now as much as it's been celebrating anything to do with Democratic control. As the clock has ticked closer to ass-out-the-door time, investors have become that much more optimistic. In the final hours, Trump didn't start a nuclear war, he didn't incite more violence, he didn't push through any executive orders too crazy just to get revenge on the country, or god knows what he could think of to get attention. It's one problem that's out of the way.

An acquaintance of mine is a full-time investor, he's pretty well connected to some big players, a couple hedge fund managers, and he's been making the point since the summer that Trump is a huge destabilizing factor to already touchy financial markets. Anyone taking big shorter-term positions in addition to everything else, has to worry about what Trump is going to tweet next.

Wall Street won't miss Trump for a minute, even if it means higher taxes.

I might’ve had the energy to bicker over plans, or proposals, but since the insurrection and since I realized, thanks to Xanax and the jenius, they’re seditionists, it’s over.

They don’t read, so nothing you say will be looked at. They don’t source, so it’s just nonsense they spew. They luxuriate in ignorance, and I don’t have time for that any more.

They went all in on their guy, and things are what they are now. The next two years are going to be great, and I hope it trends that way for a long, long time.

So true. Hannity is already trying to blame Biden for the egregious mess Trump left us with.
