Well ... it's good to see you back on the board! I hope things are well with you.
I think you have at least one child - is he/she back in school yet? If so, congratulations on your new free time!

Hi. I have a 6 y/o boy and a 3 y/o girl. School has just broke off for Easter break. My 3 year old started nursery two weeks ago. She loves it. She runs in, barely saying bye. Definitely better than being stuck at home in perpetual lockdown. I don't find I have a lot of time because nursery finishes at 12. I'm in that stage where I might go to the supermarket and have a panic thinking "where's p?".
How are you all doing? Coping with everything going on?

I am in a sense lucky that worry about other people is my main problem. My way of life leaves me free to keep active while practising precautions that reduce my own risk of infection to a fairly low level, though that comes at the price of much reduced in-person contact. But I can see the heavy impact of the long-term stress of the pandemic on people close to me, and sadly there is often not a lot I can do about that.Imwashingmypirate wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 11:22 amHow are you all doing? We have been relatively lucky. Must have been awful a century ago when people didn't have internet.Chap wrote: I am in a sense lucky that worry about other people is my main problem. It was on March 17th. St. Patrick's Day is pretty much an American thing. The Irish for their part are content that the British are no longer trying to persecute them. Not sure how much they have to do with the British now with the Brexit.Imwashingmypirate wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 11:23 amWe don't celebrate St Patrick's day. I don't even know when it is.
Before the COVID-19 lockdown, a lot of green beer was consumed on that day.
