So, your response to trauma is to inflict more pain?
Yes. When a person is inflicting harm and excusing it, pointing it out isn't wrong just because there are mitigating circumstances behind why the person reacts as they do. You still have the harmful behavior going on.

Read the room, honor. Read the room.
 exactly. because when a woman publicly objects to a crude sexist comment, it's because SHE has a problematic past, right? What BS.
It's about you, Lem, and your reactions. It's not abstractly about women and men. You own your own responses regardless of whether or not you see it as valid or excusable, meeting others where you believe they are at in an otherwise unequal position if you didn't respond in that way, etc.

You abstract it like you did above for a reason. It's to distance yourself from what you say as an individual to other individuals, and to deflect criticism of that speech YOU make as symptomatic of systemic problems.

Again, own your crap, Lem.

What are YOU trying to accomplish? It was a pretty complete thread before you got on here with your “I have no idea what a woman is like” divide, and you’ve done nothing but trash me, in a dozen or so posts, for having a sincere issue.

So I ask again, what are YOU trying to accomplish? and whatever it is, can you please take it elsewhere?
Go F yourself.
That is sexist. Only cowards talk to women like that. You are not a man Sir.

I'll never know what it's like to have someone 30 years older than I am make a pass at me.
make a pass can mean "to do or say something that clearly shows one wants to begin a romantic ... relationship with (someone)"

There are single mothers struggling to find a man with financial stability. It is the man who has to make the first move, nothing wrong with healthy flirting. A lot of young single mothers are having a hard time paying the bills every month.

Nothing like getting a rebuke about sexism from some dude who's only interested in women 15-20 years younger than they are.

Nobody's forgotten your douchery, man.
If I am single when I am in my 40s I'd be interested in women 20 years younger. Single mothers really want a better life for their children.
