So should I assume that conservatism means the exact same thing to everyone who supports Trump? If that were the case, I would have a funhouse definition of a term that doesn't resemble reality either.
That depends on who says it to him. If Brietbart says it, he accepts it no problem. After all his real religion isn't Mormonism. The easiest way to tell that you don't know what socialism is, or specifically, democratic socialism, is that you equate it with communism. Upon hearing that, you can be dismissed as ignorant right away. You receive the derision you do because you don't seem to understand your credibility problem.
How seriously would you take someone who asked you something like, "You're a Mormon? So you're basically a poor Scientologist?" Wouldn't you just dismiss that question, since it's dripping with ignorance?
