Listen it occurs to me that I should say something with regard to my interest in the psych stuff because I probably seem overly excited about it--but not a happy kind of oh look a surprise excited way.

I have followed a LOT of murder cases involving mainly covert narcissists and even in those cases, you only have the ability to look BACK over at the crime and see the details of how it was carried out. Like I said, I'm always surprised at the stupid mistakes that narcs make. You can easily see this in the case of Trump (who would be viewed as an overt malignant narcissist...someone who doesn't cover up his tendencies but puts them on full display) in terms of his speeches, his Twitter feed and his phone calls where he has got to know he was being recorded. I mean, that one last tweet that I think Lem posted here. His narcissism and rank stupidity is on full display. On one hand he's trying to rouse the crowd while in light of what happened at the Capitol, he's hanging himself at the same time because he doesn't know when to shut up.

When we talk about narcs who are out of their source of supply, we often think of narcissistic rage. When you think of yourself and how you would behave in a state of rage, you might think you'd be yelling, swearing, throwing things and what not. From what I have seen in the true crime cases, that is NOT how narcs rage. When narcs rage they could give you a sweet or passionate kiss then put their hands around your neck and choke you to death without missing a beat, saying a word and without blinking even once.

Chris Watts had NO history of anger management issues and that is exactly what he did to his family. He simply choked them out, kids included. Why? His marriage was shot, his reputation as a nice guy was about to be shot on account of his affair, his financial standing was about to be shot to crap, and so he made love to his wife then choked her to death and choked out/smothered his kids while transporting his wife's body to the oil fields he worked in. He threw his pregnant wife's body in a very shallow grave and dumped his kids into oil tanks. Period. Then he want on about his day as usual.

I think Trump is in a state of rage right now. Not throwing his toys around the room, though he could be. He's lost the election, his base is coming apart to some degree, he has lost his support amongst members of the GOP...what the hell does he have left? His family? The Trump Organization? And if he is threatened by the federal gov't and SDNY (and who the hell else knows what--Deutsche Bank?) how long does he have before he loses it all? I think the guy would bankrupt himself into the literal grave entrenched in litigation which would continue long after he's dead because the Trump Org involves his children and heirs.

I don't think there is any real way to second guess him. I do believe that whatever we see coming up is going to be convoluted as hell and it's not going to end well because he is at a point where he has zero adulation and he's going to have to destroy something to get his supply even if it means destroying himself to “F” over someone (prosecutors, SDNY, the U.S. A.) one last time and avoiding incarceration.

What exactly does he have left to lose? Anyone see anything I am missing? I admit that my view could be skewed right now since I'm probably too invested in the blow by blow.

If not, then won't it make sense for him to step down so Pence can pardon him?

Can he step down and avoid impeachment? Step down tomorrow, Pence Pardon's him, and now he can run again in 2024?

If Pence were to pardon him, don't you think that would ruin any chance Pence has to run in 2024? Who really knows? Have we ever seen this before? You know when Trump uses the phrase "Like no one's ever seen before" he wasn't far off the mark, was he.

All I think I do know is that like I stated in my previous post, we're going to see something convoluted as hell take place. Something that throws us all off balance.

And that is the work of a narc, folks.

We've seen that every day of our lives for the past 4-5 years already. I don't think it stops any time soon unless he is stopped in some concrete totally restrictive fashion.

Yeah, I'm not so sure Pence would be up for that now. I heard he was extremely pissed Trump didn't listen to him when Pence told Trump he had no power to overturn the election counts, and Trump tweeted something about Pence being weak.

I just don't see what Pence gets from pardoning Trump. Yes, Trump would be protected from Federal charges, but not only can he be charged by other jurisdictions for what happened in D.C., he going to face SDNY and the state of New York, not to mention his unidicted co-conspirator status in the Michael Cohen/Stormy Daniels hush money case. Given all that will come out in these trials, not to mention a Justice Department that is not run by Trump loyalists, the mountain of damage will leave him with a decimated base in 2024, if he is not a convicted felon. Trump made sure that the bridges were burned between Pence and his base with his comments after Pence told the President he couldn't throw out the results of the election.

I think Pence is going to keep his head down and get out of Dodge.

I thought his tremendous dept to Deutsche Bank had been forgiven for all the potential help he would give to the Kremlin. Trump can still issue a pardon to all the murderers so they can help enact his vengeance on America, as well as a host of other bad things.
