I thought this was interesting (who knew there was something worthwhile on FAIR?). This is from Dale Broadhurst, exmo and ex-RLDS. What do you all think?

Spaulding parallels in Book of Mormon
Check this out too:
http://mormonstudies.com/criddle/rigdon.htm
Criddle hangs out on RfM.
What do you think Runtu? I have always thought that Smith didn't do it alone. Though I have no real clue how he did it. So, that must mean Rigdon, Cowdery, and maybe Parley (?) was involved somehow, as well.
I also think Emma knew full well that it was all a scam, but I doubt she helped write it.
I think Criddle, with the help of Uncle Dale, is on to something. Apparently, Uncle Dale is only a year or so from putting out a book on the whole thing, from what I can tell. Can you even begin to imagine the FARMS reviews on that book?
I hope I live to see the day when the whole riddle is solved.
By the way, miss your posts over on RfM. Hope all is well. (I go by a different moniker over on that board, so you don't know me.)

I really, really hope Dale Broadhurst comes out with a book. It will be interesting to see how it differs from Vanick, Davis, and Cowdrey's Who Really Wrote the Book of Mormon? The Spalding Enigma.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

If interested, I provide a critical analysis of the Spalding theory here:

Matt Roper also gives a critical review of the Spalding Enigma here:

Hey, Wade,
Nice to see you again. Thanks for the links. Unfortunately, neither deals with the subject of Dale's analysis. Is the near-perfect match Dale finds coincidental or based on flawed methodology?
I don't think it proves anything, but Dale makes a good case for a connection between the two texts.

LOL.
Hi Who Knows. For an answer to your question, your moniker works just fine!
I know a few things: if you enter into the middle of the maze of Uncle Dale's sites, it's hard to get your bearings and figure out where you are. The link above leads you directly in to the middle of the maze, and your "WTF" reaction is quite understandable.
The thing I do over at his site is always start at the original home page. You can get there from the bottom of the link provided above. Then, I slowly move from page to page and try to remember where I just was and how I got to where I am now. Luckily, the browser helps you remember where you were just prior to getting lost, which for me is inevitable at his site.
I don't know if that answers your question. When I follow the link above, I have no idea why he has that page there and what it is actually related to, and what in the hell it might have to do with Spaulding.
I actually went to the homepage and tried to find that page linked above and got lost again.
That being said, I always find something of great interest there. However, it is very rarely the piece of information for which I originally went to his site to find.
If you can make more sense out of the UD maze, let us all know. You may be able to charge for it. Or maybe UD will hire you as his librarian. He needs one. LOL. All the best to you.
