Jskains, I agree with JerseyGirl. Take a breather. I don't understand the rancor that occurs on these boards over matters of Mormonism. I do not desire to understand it either.
If you walk away now and focus on what's really important in your life (your wife, your family, your profession) you'll look back upon this as being quite absurd one day. Because really, it is all very absurd.
If you were threatened that is unfortunate, and certainly not something I condone.

For some of us though, we can't avoid it. Certain aspects of my life legally have to be public record, so I am doomed no matter what.

The owner of that domain is publicly available information. One possiblity is that the contents are different than what you put forth--I can't find a cache or archive of the page.
Not that I really care one way or the other.

Skains,
The method of board resolutions is to take your case to the mods, not create more drama by emailing scratch, c'mon buddy, did you really think that by PMing Scratch -- of all people -- that you wouldn't be creating more drama? It doesn't matter if you "wanted it to be a private matter", your PM to scratch was unsolicited. I don't think, I really don't think, that people have a legal obligation (let alone a moral one) to keep unsolicited email a secret.
And can I just say, you know, because while I find you annoying as all hell and horrible at debate, I don't dislike or hate you. And I really hope things go well with your business and family. Your online drama is NUTS, and it's going to put your business pursuits in jeoppardy someday if you're not careful. You aren't DCP. He can be as public as he wants and not hurt his career as the church will see him through anything. You aren't RCrocket who is already rich and successful and fully networked and can afford to take the risks of onymous "bravery". You literally litter the web with personal drama from your real life to your bitter fights with EV's and now resurrecting ZLMB stuff. You put your picture up, create blogs, sign your real name. Good Lord, is this the kind of stuff you'd feel comfortable with your clients uncovering? You piss people off pretty easy, and someone someday is really going to try to screw you over.
The odds are still against it, but your vanity is jeopordizing not just yourself but your wife and baby's welfare. So yeah, you ought to think of them first and not just how badly you hate "antiMormonism". Jesus, jskains, your an IT pro, you should know better.

Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

Gads, you stole my thunder.
Josh,
I have some additional advice along the same lines:
Dude, change your name and start over for your family's sake (and shave your head and grow a beard). People that will do business with you will GOOGLE YOU and factor in your prepubescent behavior into their decision making process. Over the past few years, I've begun Googling clients and business associates. It has been quite enlightening.
I use my real name in forums within my profession where my comments are among collegues, friends and clients. I don't use profanity, childish rants or threaten financial injury where cyberspace will imprint the tantrums for a millenia.
Here in CYBER-RELIGEONLAND I must take precations to protect from unecessary abuse to myself, family, friends and even livelyhood. And even now, I realize I may be outed with all the clues to my life I've posited (yes posit is a word) so I've kept profanity, whining and other antisocial sophistry to a minimum.
And on somewhat of a sidenote. When you do return with a suedoname, would you please keep new threads to less than freeking 10 a day. This is really getting annoying coming to "Josh the Troubled Mormon Discussions".
rant off.

Kinda hard when your getting swipped from many different angles. I wish some of you would take some personal responsibility. Course the board is perfect, right?

"Kinda hard" doesn't say much for self restraint, Yoshi. This is NOT something you want clients to see on a resume.
You need someone you respect to evaluate you (and understandably you have found no one here that is worth qualifying).
Just because the observation comes from someone you may consider an antagonist doesn't make the perception an un-truth.
Keep in mind that at this point my services are free. You keep it up and I'm going to bill you.
I think I'm done here.
Vaya con dios.

No, it won't send an e-mail on behalf of another user. It's impossible to send an e-mail via this board as anyone other than the name under which you're logged in.

Yes. It's just like the Mormon church: The board is perfect even though the members aren't.

I have a question. Here is Josh's post where he accuses me of making "threats":
When I asked him what my email addy was, he then claimed that the message had been "stripped." (Now, this is the first time I had ever even heard of such a thing as email "stripping.") So, if that's the case, then how would Josh know that I was the one who sent the message? Or was he just assuming?
Second, while this message *is* kind of creepy, what, at heart, is all that "threatening" about it? I mean, what could happen here? Is Josh afraid that his online behavior is going to be "exposed" for all his ward members and family? I.e., is he embarrassed about what he has done and said here?
I don't know. In the end, I am mainly just annoyed at being accused of something I did not do.

My source knows your address and if you keep up with the behavior, I might have a little chat with your Bishop, your wife, and perhaps all your little friends at the XXXXX ward. :) I am going to have fun messing with you boy."
I got this screwed up message in my damned inbox. You deny it is you????????
