Friday night four masters of their craft passed through Las Vegas at The Pearl Theatre at the Palms Hotel & Casino. They performed for about two hours, and it wasn't near long enough. Everyone kept calling out for their favorite songs, and many left wanting more. It was the last night of the tour, and it may be another five years before they are seen again.

That's awesome that you got to go, Gaz. I had a chance to see them when they were in Denver during the week of Thanksgiving, but I went to California to visit my sister and her family. I was bummed, but I got to go to a Sacramento Kings game so that kind of made up for it. My friend who went to the show here said it was amazing...a great light/laser show.

Here's a song that makes me happy. Also, my mother's name is Cecilia, and we sing it to her all the time! It always embarrasses her, especially the line "Making love in the afternoon with Cecilia, up in my bedroom...I get up to wash my face, when I come back to bed someone's taken my place!"

Silent,

Yeh, the only problem I had was that I went to the concert after being up since 3 AM. I was exhausted, but still oved seeing those guys do their thing. Then I had to go home, sleep for 3 hours and go back to work. ugh. I wouldent have missed it for the world though. Ieven had a guy offer to buy my ticket for twice what I payed.

Kim,

Nice find! Half the trouble of posting videos is finding a good and proper version of it. Great video and sound on that one. Nice!

This man just passed away at the young age of 56. Prostate Cancer. My Dad just celebrated his 56th birthday, so it seems very young to me.. I think everyone likes this song...

The news of Fogelberg's death saddens me. My parents were big fans of his when I was a kid and I remember numerous road trips where we listened to his music. He played a concert at BYU in the Marriot Center my freshman year (1993). I took a date to it. I think that's the last non-mormon "rock" concert ever held at the Y. It was pretty cool.

At work today we were talking about how we named our kids. Heh.

9 years ago we were having our first, And we named him Orion. At the time I loved this song, and coaxed the wife to let me name him because the name was unique and cool.
