This one is for John Gee. The band "Nile", like FARMS apologists, dedicate their virtuosity -- extreme virtuosity in the case of the band -- to the disservice of ancient Egypt. The youth playing in the streets of those days no doubt would be mystified at the mundane icons of their culture inspiring everything from religious fraud to tech death thousands of years later. Nile also has some nice arrangements played entirely on Egyption instruments. Like Gee, Nile is known for their online game-playing, putting up Egyptian heiroglyphics and demanding translations.
