Californiakid,

Great List ! Thanks for sharing. Hope you keep going through the pages, Theres a ton of good stuff in there. I did a Jason Mraz post somewhere in there. Hes great. And someone should really do a full Jack Johnson post. He has his new album out, and Rolling Stone just featured him in their magazine, complete with childhood photos.

can't say I'm with oyu on that Thousand Foot Crutch song. Sounds very Papa Roach to me, and I hate Papa Roach. I think Jacobi is the worst part about the show Scarred. Not with you on Lenny kravitz either. I don't know why, but he bugs me.

3 Doors Down are a really great band. We shoudl do a full post on them as well. My favorite of theirs:

:-D

When I was an undergrad, we used to walk around the dorm doing the Daler Mehndi dance. We couldn't find the CD in the US, so an Indian friend of mine actually got his grandfather to send us a copy.

I can only take so much Thousand Foot Krutch, and I have to be in the mood. But "Rawkfist" is great for getting psyched up for a sporting event. And they're really nothing like Papa Roach as far as content. TFK is a "Christian" band, though they don't do a lot of explicitly Christian stuff.

Ha ha, that was funny. I liked this comment from the responces:

it sounds like something they would play at a chip and dales club while the guys r dressed as cowboys and pointing their fingers like guns in the air

I HATE that song -- the love you forever song. Seriously! It is so disgustingly sentimental and sappy, to me.

I just tried to listen to it and recalled the first time hearing it and cringing...
