Heh - that's funny mate. Nice one...

...and now for something completely different...
(Sadly one of my best claim to fame's - met the the lead singer in this band a couple of times. Before they were famous. Even made me a cup of tea one morning... My mate used to share a house with him...)

This thread NEEDS MOAR NORDIC METAL...
Warning, the following has been known to cause massive amounts of "HOLY CRAP, AWESOME!" and "Dude... That 'effing ROCKS" to happen. If you're not into metal, then don't watch any of it, as your head might explode.

Finntroll- Trollhammeren Don't bother trying to figure out what he's singing about, he's growling in Finnish. Just go with it, people...

Amon Amarth - Runes To My Memory Holy crap! Syncronized Headbanging! Viking death metal FTW!

MESHUGGAH - Bleed Seriously, if you can't handle deep black math metal, don't click that link... Rock of that power could make your head explode.

Arch Enemy - Ravenous Angela is about the onyl woman on earth that can pull off the growl of death. Imagine Slayer, only without the lameness since Seasons in the Abyss and a singer with more balls then Tom Ayra.
I was afraid of the dark when I was young. "Don't be afraid, my son," my mother would always say. "The child-eating night goblins can smell fear." Bitch... - Kreepy Kat

The song title reminds me of a movie preview I saw recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yH8yuld4DUE

Can't stop listening to "The Boys of Summer." It really kinda bums me out, but the chorus is so dern pretty I just keep playing it. I like both versions:

Don Henley

The Ataris (hate that douchebag's hair, though. Stupid emo swoop.)

"Boys of Summer" is a great song. I just put Don Henley's greatest hits on my ipod last week.

How is this right? If you close your eyes while he's singing he almost sounds like a young Elvis. Don't believe me? Click the link, minimize the screen, listen and then look at who the singer is.
