Happy Thanksgiving All, and especially to Mr. Belmont who, in a reality, ought to pass this one up.

On a lighter note, my lady and I hiked four miles on and around a mountaintop today. It was nice. We chatted with other hikers. We saw amazing vistas. It was beautiful and inspiring.

Hopefully Mr. Simon will follow suit and commit to dropping those extra pounds this Holiday season!

Thanks for being here and sharing something of yourselves with us. Even if I have harsh words at times (Simon, I'm looking at you), I still have a great deal of fondness for you all.

Thanks!

Thanks, and you know I saw the newest Harry Potter movie last night, and although Severus Snape did not have a major role, every time I saw him or heard the voice of Alan Rickman I thought "that's my Kishkumen!" You made Harry Potter 10x more enjoyable.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! Turkey's in the oven, pies are cooling, and potatoes are almost ready to mash.

In all seriousness, I have much to be thankful for: a family who loves me and of whom I am proud. A good career, a roof over my head, and some much-needed peace.

Best to you, too, Simon, and everyone else.

Ray, hope you can hoist a six pack of Australian beer, together with a couple of friendly Koalas, for we who are engaged in our American feast today. When is the next comparable Australian Holiday?

I heard if you ask for a Foster's in Australia you'll get your butt kicked. Is that true, Ray?

I will certainly do that, Mok. Today I have an excuse :)

Australia Day is the "big day" here (we're very pagan). The Aboriginies used to call it "invasion day", but in recent years, and perhaps since Prime Minister Rudd's apology for past mistreatment, a lot of the kerfuffle has died down.

I wouldn't touch the stuff with a ten foot pole, Simon. in my opinion it tastes like what comes out of horses' behinds. The Fosters legacy was promoted in the US by Paul Hogan of "shrimp on the barbie" fame, or, "that's not a knife, this is a knife". It's really not that popular here at all, but I guess the myth sold well overseas.

The ubiquitous Wiki:

Despite its heavy international presence, the so-called original Australian beer, Foster's Lager, has very low appeal and limited availability throughout Australia, and is made mostly for export, or made under licence in other countries, particularly the U.K.

Back at you Simon.
