You are, of course, gravely misremembering. I taught the truth, and was ostracized for it. I was under the impression that "Cassius" was a place where truth and diversity were encouraged, but I was wrong. The only thing encouraged there is complaining about LDS apologetics.
I never missed a day, never missed a class, and even regularly met with students outside of my regular office hours. I
lived on campus. I wanted to help, to teach, to inspire! I was willing to do anything for those students, and my work certainly was recognized -- I was squashed because I didn't conform to what the "administration" wanted. Even today, I receive e-mails from former students, thanking me for changing their lives for the better.
