This suggests a misunderstanding of evolution, BC. How do you explain the existence of homosexuality in the animal kingdom? Do animals 'choose' to be homosexual?

I have had quite a few Homosexual men who have tried to hook up with me before. Why is it during my lifetime here, there have been more homosexual males attracted to me than females? I am totally 100% heterosexual.

"Queer" and "fag" are sometimes used ironically by gays to refer to themselves. It's taking a negative label and defiantly making it a point of pride to diffuse the hate the term carries. It's like when I call myself an infidel. Queer is used frequently in academia in this way. Of course this doesn't free up bigots like BCSpace to use the word as a pejorative anymore than Samuel L. Jackson's speech-patterns would allow him to start talking about niggers.
As for the OP, teaching children to be aware of and accepting of gays isn't "recruiting" as that isn't attempting to make people gay. The recruitment myth comes from a particularly noxious idea that gays are predators who attempt to turn children gay (through things like molestation) to create new gay lovers.

Homosexuality has been documented in over 1500 different species. By definition, homosexuality is a natural thing, unless you're going to argue that black swans make a conscious choice to be gay.
