I really don't have much of a problem with MnG's views, especially the part about God's judgements being corrective (and probably in our best interests) and not punative. That is very consistent with the gospel.

However, I do not buy that everyone will eventually get exalted to higher and higher levels of enlightenment. As I've said before, just because you CAN change in the next life doesn't mean you WILL change (that is what repentance really means) and do as the Lord asks. In fact, I believe Satan himself CAN change, but he never WILL change. He rebelled and refused to do as God asked in the very presence of God. And since we have free will, that means that not everyone will progress. We may choose to fall in fact or just stay where we are.

I'm rather fond of the split opinion by general authorities, historically speaking, concerning whether or not a person may progress through the spheres of salvation.

Just hefting the book up off the shelf is gonna change my life huh? I can do that!

Your humor is a little weird. Well, atleast in a sarcastically juvenile kinda way.

Nightlion is definitely an acquired taste, but I like that he posts here. I mean, every religous-themed board (especially a Mormon one) should have its own resident prophet right?

Are you even LDS? I don't know what to make of your theological ideas other than that they are totalitarian, elitist, authoritarian and narcissistic.

Thank you.

lol......I was LDS sort of, even though they chaffed at my every utterance from the age of my true conversion that could not help but conflict with LDS arrogance and hypocrisy.

totalitarian...........I mean what I say and I say what God means to say as well. If that is totalitarian to you....cool.
elitist...................I avow to have accomplished what I teach. If that means I am elite.....cool.
authoritarian........I profess to have been called to the holy apostleship of Jesus Christ by the commanding word of the Lord spoken unto me that sent me out into the world and by the reception of the apostolic witness of Jesus Christ that came upon me in June of 1979 a revelation by the power of the Holy Ghost.
(This is the very same witness all LDS called apostles are SUPPOSE to get but never do)
narcissistic...........I am the only one I know like me in all the world. How can I help but come off narcissistic?

If a thousand brethren suddenly appeared I would no more be narcissistic, would I? Since all I know refuse to breathe I will continue to breathe all the same. If they look upon me with the green eye of envy and call my breathing narcissism, well, okay. If that breath is the flame of the truth and it might yet kindle in your hearts or that of you children or your children's children should I now stop breathing because to you it comes of narcissistic?

Very true. CARM has bert10. MDD has [insert board prophet of choice].

Moses 1:39 succinctly explains what His focus is.

Certainly a perfect God knows how to get His work done.

Ya know...I don't agree much with anything you have said since my posting here. But I will admit that I like what you have said above and it will probably give me a deeper appreciation for your posting on this board. I will probably never agree with you but I like you nonetheless.

I own an understanding of how one goes from one glory to a higher but not without the ultimate sacrifice to commence. MOST, in my opinion do eventually opt for it. The lower kingdoms are not a dump heap where the majority go and are added upon each generation of the heavens. I see it as clearing out and probably the sooner the better as to make it back from around the corner of the mix of light and truth from which we are all taken.

It sounds like you agree with MnG more than I do then. So why are you picking a fight with her?
