Having finally worked my way through this lengthy thread, I feel I should go on record as appreciating very much all the hard work Liz has done on this board and the wonderful person she is in real life, regardless of whether one believes she has committed a transgression in this particular instance.
I take my hat off to Liz.

Well, I suppose my humorless one, that truth is a defense.
To make that sentence capable of being parsed, I have tried adding a comma after 'suppose', so that the phrase 'my humorless one' is clearly an apostrophe to beastie.
But it still doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Scratch has an obvious dislike of DCP and those associated with his apologetic crusade (he is not alone in this by any means), and devotes considerable effort to their discomfiture. That is by no means a sign of mental derangement in itself, and the coherence and cogency of his posts seem to argue that he is perfectly sane and able to direct his utterances quite well. The claim of mental derangement seems unlikely to persuade anybody.
Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
And how does one go about serving an anonymous board entity anyway?
This whole thing could be a bar exam question.
I think before served, DCP's attorneys could ask the court for permission to conduct ex parte discovery on Shades/MDB, and then the ISP providers. Then, with that, move to amend the Does out with real names, and make service. Some judges would appoint the Does an attorney to be able to argue against the discovery into Shades/MDB and ISP providers information. Other judges might reserve the opportunity to ultimately named defendants to revisit the issue of the propriety of the ex parte discovery in the first place, and if successful, get the discovered information thrown out. But in doing so, DCP would have learned Scratch's in real life. To prevent that, I am sure that other attorney posters, like Everybody Wang Chung, would join with me in helping Shades/MDB fight the ex parte discovery attempt in the first place.

I love the fact that we have so many attorneys on this board. Love it.

You all are so sure that Jason Echols is NOT scratch. Does that mean that you know Jason Echols in real life? Do any of you know him, other than know of him or know of his chino blanco persona?
I know him in real life. He's not Scratch.
