The party of racism is the republican party.
It is also the party of creationism, separatism, gun worship, denialism, birtherism, religious intolerance, obstructionism, and dominionism.
It is the party of Big Oil, of pollution, of sexism, of Donald Trump, of deregulation (fecal matter and human flesh in yer meat deregulation).

Well I am a Republican, and I do believe in Evolution, that Obama was born in Hawaii, and I don't worship guns.

It is the party of Droopy .....and that says it all.

Droopy is Not a Republican.

I'm not a Republican, and have not been for a number of years now.

It is the party of fundamentalism; The republican party is to the US what the Muslim brotherhood is to Egypt.

How can you be a mathematician and yet so irrational. Can you also prove that 1-1=2 for us?
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

So you think that fundamentalists are liberal?

Talk about irrational.

The Clean Air Act was first passed in 1963 by a Democrat majority in both houses with a Democrat sitting in the White House.

It is true that there were some amendments made under the Bush I administration, but the fact remains that conservatives whine and cry every time someone tries to pass laws with the intention of lightning our carbon footprint.

Too bad, isn't it, that there's not a speck of evidence or logical argument to back up this assertion.

It is also the party of creationism,

There are a few creationists in the party, to be sure, but CFR that the generally liberal, blue-blood Republican establishement is creationist, or that anything of this kind drives Republican policy.

separatism,

What does this mean? I have a very grood idea what it means among the Left and the Democrats (especially its leadership), but no idea what you mean when applying this term to the Republican Party.

gun worship,

I have no idea what this means.

denialism,

This is nothing more than a term of hatred, marginalization, and bigotry intended to brand principled skeptics of DAGW/CAGW as outcasts, lepers, and as ideologically unclean. Like "homophobia," "sexism," "racism" "classism," and other popular terms common within the Left, it has no real meaning outside tightly constrained ideological categories.

birtherism,

A fringe position among the conservative grassroots, with no apparent effect within the institutional Republican Party.

religious intolerance,

I don't know what kettle this may be, but its an awfully big, fat, steaming pot doing the calling.

obstructionism,

This could be, of course, good or bad, dependeing upon what is being obstructed (outside of which definition, this is just like "hope" and "change," presenting themselves as meaningless terms without reference.

dominionism.

This is a new one. Are there now "dominionism studies"
Departments springing up in the hallowed halls of academia? Is this the new rage among the academic Anointed?

It is the party of Big Oil,

And good for them, if they are (although I don't see much in the way of this, in all actuality, save among the conservative minority in the House and Senate).

of pollution,

The party of pollution? Which means, in reality, that the Democratic Party is the anti-energy party, which means its the anti-private sector economy party, which means its the anti-economic growth party, which means its the anti-job creation party. Thanks, Tarski, for making that even clearer.

of sexism,

Blah, blah, blah...

of Donald Trump,

The Devil incarnate.

It is bizzarly the party of Ayn Rand that uses Jesus' name.

The generally liberal, Keynesian, statistic, interventionist, stimulus/bailout Republican party is an Objectivist party?

Take your temperature, Tarski, you might be surprised at what you see.

It is the party of fundamentalism; The republican party is to the US what the Muslim brotherhood is to Egypt.

I flew over the cuckoos nest once, but they had all flown away and left the nest. They somehow managed to find their way here, however, and the rest is standard textbook abnormal psych.

This concept has no scientific meaning as it has not been (and possibly cannot be) quantified, verified, or falsified.

Its an ideological term that's been wrapped in the folds of "climate science" and presented as beyond question.

That's correct, Brackite, but these folks here always like to corner me into defending that party, if they can, time and again. I'll take the Republicans over the neo-Marxist Democrats any day of the year, but only holding my nose.

I'd prefer a true classical liberal/fusionist party, but I don't think that's in the works in my lifetime.

And probably never.

About 62 million gallons of crude oil seep into the ocean each year from natural points of emission, so whether they're "good for" the environment (certain microorganisms love the stuff) or not, oil is a part of the natural environment, and always has been. Its a natural part of the ocean environment, and a natural part of earth's geologic and biological processes.

The largest oil spills in history are tiny pinpricks of pollution on a vast planet that history and scientific knowledge shows contains a number of mechanisms which quickly process such materials back into itself and "clean" the local environment, restoring it to a "natural" state fundamentally like that which obtained before the spill.

We can't ban crude oil leaking into the ocean from the ocean floor, but anti-capitalist moral prigs drunken with the idea of their own intellectual and moral sanctity and giddy with the prospect of vast, centralized powers of coercion, can try to destroy the modern industrial economy - and hence, civilization, in the name of "social justice."
