Can you answer this following question with a yes or no?

Did Elder Durrant attempt to or supported the efforts of the monetization of ponderize to his benefit or for his son's benefit?

This is where Mak's counsel jumps up and says "objection" and the judge says "sustained" and mutters to herself about the poor training of lawyers these days.

Seriously, it's a terrible question.

Thanks Brad, terrible as it may be, we are not in court. Brad, humor me, what do you think went down with Elder Durrant and the monetization of ponderize?

I still don't understand the argument Durrant was trying to protect the word, yet he failed to secure arguably the most popular domain of ponderize.com

Seriously, the entity that owns that must be thinking, "WTF?!?!" after seeing the hits this past week.

If Durrant was trying to protect the word, why didn't he secure that website before talking on the Grand Stage of Mormonism?

Looks like the story has some legs. I suppose BYU selling 'ponderizing' t-shirts isn't helping matters.

Right. So why didn't Durrant buy it from whoever owns it, if, in fact, the purpose is to prevent parking or squatting or whatever, and to keep the 'ponderize' word pure for innocent members?

As Brad sad, it's a terrible question (apart from the honestly confusing syntax) but I've already made my position on this clear directly to you. My concern is and always has been with the crystallization of the assumption of depraved motivations into fact. That's what you did, not me.

email godaddy.com and ask the owner if he was approached for sale of the domain.

If I am in the CameronMO camp I am thinking Elder Durrant had no idea his son was building this website to sell ponderize products, and in no way did Elder Durrant seek any financial gain from ponderize for himself or his son. Not possible. Correct me if I am wrong.

He may have tried, but I can't imagine it's likely the original owner would facilitate the kind of activity Elder Durrant appears to have been trying to prevent.

right, so doubt your doubts. Carry on.

The new gen of Mormon Apologetics, same as the old.

by the way, it is "said" not "sad" since you're still focused on message board grammar.
