I understand that therapists can testify as to what a child tells them and that is an exception to the hearsay rule. However, isn't the source of what the therapist said still Mr. Karren? If it is, then that should be disallowed under the hearsay rules. We need to see the actual therapist report. Additionally, isn't the source of the content of the telephone call Mr. Karren? Again, that would be inadmissible hearsay.

So, again, my question to you Karren believers, do you believe him despite the family court bias that exists in these custody cases? Sure it may still be true but these alleged horrible events happened in 2002. What does the daughter say now? She should be 20 now. Does she want to speak? Has she said she doesn't want to speak about it? Why is it coming out now? What's the ax Karren wants to grind? How does his daughter feel about being the subject of all this internet chatter? Did Karren get her permission to tell this to the world?

The therapist report is an attachment to Ron's blog. She documents what the daughter told her.

The only information we have about the telephone call comes from Karren, who was not a party to the call.

We haven't heard from the daughter.

Thank you for pointing me to Mr. Karren's blog. So, having read the report, what was meant by rubbing her thighs, etc.? Why did the detectives say the allegations were unsubstantiated? Having represented clients in these types of cases, it's not surprising that the therapist and the detectives reached the conclusion they did. Frankly, these professionals are used to seeing sexual abuse that is a lot more serious than what was claimed by Mr. Karren.

I would want to hear what the daughter says about where exactly the touch was. However, I am sure she doesn't want to discuss it in front of the world. Again, why is Mr. Karren doing this now? Does he have his 20 year old daughter's permission to spread her story all over the internet?

We haven't seen anything from the CPS investigation. I think we will get to see parts of it. Maybe we will see interviews. Stay tuned, I guess.

I don't know the answer to the rest.

He produced the video in 2012. Because, I would assume, of the movie "Spotlight" the video took off this year 2016 and garnered interest in Facebook as well as some media outlets. Tyson Holbrook interviewed Ron a couple of weeks ago. His releasing of the documents was a result of requests from interested bystanders, many who took exception to the sensationalist nature of the video. Do you have the link to the radio interview?

If you take him at his word then he sincerely believes his ex father in law to be a pedophile - he has watched his daughter labelled and gossiped about as promiscuous from age 6 - he learned the fuller details of that abuse from K in 2008.

He's hop skipping mad and wants justice for his daughter. I am pretty certain he has had permission from all 3 children. I can ask for clarification.

His choice of documents will support his pov but also where they impact or concern his daughter's abuse.

RI, Ron clarifies in radio interview (part 1) that 60 pages of affidavits were produced at the Scott meeting in Idaho. So looks like a typo.

Ron's assertions in the radio interview.

All ecclesiastical leaders knew about the divorce 4 months before he did.
60 pages of affidavits were compiled against him with a legal proceeding in place accusing him of child abuse - being violent with the children and evicting him from home. Why the hell is an apostle involved in someone's divorce?

CPS investigation documents wiil be interesting. Ron's claim is that they tried to get K to change her story.

All children appear to resent their mother's camp for demonizing and accusing their dad of some pretty trumped up charges which I believe he has shown to be fabrications. It got nasty from the start, (the divorce), and that nastiness began with the Micklesen camp. Big time.
