I get a kick out of the way people online lately have been freaking the hell out if I say anything about Melania, yet they go silent when Trump's sexual assault of women gets brought up. Yes, clearly I'm the bigger devil here.
You're the one "freaking the hell out". We don't have to go there with you. You can wallow in your angst all by yourself. Others have differing views on how to approach these issues. Don't like it? Tough.
But cannot express a single original thought in any of them.
I'm fluent in three and can get around in a fourth and I'm not particularly bright. Some of the dumbest people I know are multi-lingual. But what I'm more concerned about is the unprecedented example she sets for the children of America. If you're unsure of yourself, even if you're already attractive, just dodge your education and focus on outer beauty so you can land a sugar daddy who was seven years into his first marriage on the day you were born. Making America great again!
How many languages have you had a conversation with her in? Any? You don't know at all because you've never had one. You're just promoting a misogynistic stereotype and desperately trying to rationalize it -- just like any good gamergater would.

Hey man, this is kind of where I thought you were coming from all along. But RI has a point.
I had to laugh at myself after reading RI's response. Thing is, I totally consider Majax a racist based on what he writes online. I can easily judge him that way because I have no interest in understanding where he's coming from, because I think he's irreversibly dumb. Is he really a racist in his heart? Who knows? Does it matter if what he posts spreads racist sentiment?
But because I largely agree with many of your positions (and am familiar with your posting history), I found myself trying to better understand your motivation for posting, rather than acknowledging that, although I believe I understand the points you were trying to make, I think you could have chosen your words differently and conveyed the same basic thoughts without people going off with accusations of misogyny.
But ya know... what the **** do I know?
I'm totally down with slamming Republican hypocrisy, up down and sideways. But this isn't the best way to do it. There are plenty of other opportunities over much more substantial issues.

"Yeah, but look what Johnny did" is an excuse for first-graders. The issue isn't who is the biggest devil. The issue is you shouldn't be the devil at all.

I have to admit that when the misogyny charge first came up, I was a little annoyed because I didn't want the distraction from the topic of GOP hypocrisy. I think everyone needs to become painfully aware of the extent of it.
So I agree - there are likely many ways to better serve the topic.

That leads me to wonder, what does pointing out GOP hypocrisy get us, other than a sense of moral superiority that certainly doesn't help us win elections? I'm beginning to think that the whole hypocrisy issue is a red herring for Democrats.

It's called "GOP hypocrisy" for everyone except right-wingers. To them, we have to call it "not living up to conservative values" and yes, I think it's worth pointing that out to them.

"Just think of what the children will think when they see a beautiful first lady!"
I can tell you with almost certainty, that the First Lady (no matter who she is) will have practically ZERO influence on some child's life. ZERO! Unless she messes with school lunches like Michelle did. That is the only thing I've ever heard a child say with reference to a First Lady - she was responsible for the largest waste of food in the school system EVER, by pushing a program what forced kids to take food they hated, which they then proceeded to throw away. That is the hallmark of a liberal program. All heart and purpose with a large does of "we know better than you" - with horrible execution.
Just think of the children!

Have you every seen a right-winger respond by saying "You know, you're right. You've convinced me?"
