First of all, Mike Pence is next in line (although I'm not sure that Pence is out of the woods yet). So unless you know some new rule in the Constitution, I believe the Republicans will still hold the Executive Mansion.

How exactly does any of this show that the Russians are why DJT won the election?

Let's say you tried to hire someone to kill someone you hated. That person goes to the Police, and you are charged with soliciting murder. Are you going to say it doesn't matter because the murder didn't occur? Whether or not the Russians were successful, what is unquestioned is the fact that they tried to influence the election for Donald Trump. If Trump operatives worked with the Russians to this end, that is conspiring with a foreign government to influence an election in the United States.

Mike Flynn said at the Republican Convention that if he had done 1/10th of what Hillary Clinton did, he would be in jail. We'll see...

Today was a big day in the history of the Trump Administration and the history of this scandal. To have this all happen within his first year in office speaks to the incredible incompetence of the this Presidency.

Water Dog, if everyone was 'just doing their job', why did so many people lie about it? Why all the secrecy? If everyone was just doing their job, why was the President so insistent about firing James Comey while pushing forward a false narrative that it had to do with Hillary Clinton, when it was in fact 'the Russia Thing' that drove the Comey firing? If everyone was doing their job, why was Michael Flynn's job being the paid agent of the Turkish Government?

If everyone is so on the up and up, why does it seem that so many people in the Trump administration can't remember meeting the Russians that they met with?
