Question For Shades!
Dear Mr. Shades,
What ever happened to the 'grammar thread' that you used to do here?
Perhaps I am in the minority on this but I always read it - I enjoyed it - and I learned from it.
Any chance you would consider bringing it back to life?
Just curious.
Thanks and peace,
Ceeboo

Choyo Chagas is Chairman of the Big Four, the ruler of the planet from "The Bull's Hour" ( Russian: Час Быка), a social science fiction novel written by Soviet author and paleontologist Ivan Yefremov in 1968.
Six months after its publication Soviet authorities banned the book and attempted to remove it from libraries and bookshops.

Most of the grammatical errors I see here are ones I've covered already. Now it's mostly spelling errors and errors of word use. The problems are, if I focused on the former, I'd be swamped, and I usually don't have the energy or inclination to focus on the latter.
Do you wish to see me point out errors of word use? Ones that aren't spelling errors or grammatically incorrect, but are nonetheless used the wrong way?
(If you don't care to see those pointed out, don't worry; I won't be offended.)

Refresher courses?

Yes please!
I would like you to consider pointing out all errors (grammar, word use, spelling, etc) whenever you have the time and desire to do so.
Whatever you decide, I understand.

I'd just post a link back to the original lesson. There's no use re-typing.

Well this is an interesting turn of events, 'cause I thought people were more annoyed by them than anything (assuming you're a representative sample, of course).
I can start doing them again.
