Starbucks - Oh No. Tell me it isn’t so......
This is terrible, Starbucks is just one more company announcing the impact of this administration’s tax reform plan. They are giving bonuses and raising wages in a total package of $250 million as a result of tax reform:

Please God - bring back Obama and the Democrats. This news and this economy is such a let down since Obama left office!!

The CEO is a liberal who understands he doesn't need the extra money Trump is dishing out to secure their political support. So it is hardly surprising the money is given back to the people. This is the same company Conservatives hate with a passion because the CEO supports Hillary and intends to hire 10,000 refugees over the next several years.
In any event, we're still waiting for you to explain why so many companies like Google expanded, increased hiring and boosted wages/bonuses during the Obama years.
Remember, the argument from the Right supporting tax cuts for the top 1% had nothing to do with "hey, they'll give that money back to their employees" and everything to do with "it is about job creation." Well, job creation in 2017 is at its lowest point since 2010.

Son, you need to hire yourself out this year as back up to democratic candidates trying to explain why they voted against the most significant bill for growth in wage, job, GDP and economic output in our history. No doubt you’ll make killing, have an outstanding business because of your knowledge, track record and if you incorporate your services you will save huge on taxes. But some simple advice, and please don’t feel any pressure to change your business model but.......and I know I am probably alone on this board in this suggestion but.......you may want to hire a personality coach!
GO KEVIN GO

Good God Bach. International corporations like Starbucks don't need tax cuts to give employees a bonus. Just watch debate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QAa0Dxt_L0

and cherry picking companies is just childish. Give us real data instead. Is the middle class growing? How many people are out of poverty? Is the wealth gap shrinking? You are just playing childish games.

Real median wages appear to be rising due to low unemployment pressuring the price of labor, which isn't substantially related to the new tax bill. The churn in the national economy is massive, with anecdotal examples of both terrible and good news for businesses and employees every single month in both the absolute best of times and worst of times. So these cherry picked examples are childish. But, then again, that's the point of doing it that way.

When already dumb people pretend to be dumb, they tend to sound reaaaaally dumb because it is all relative. But if anyone notes they sound dumb, to them that just goes to show they are puppet masters pulling strings. Can't help them be even a little better at their own sociopathics hobbies. You just have to let them go on pwning the libs through self-humiliation.

LOL. Is that why 2017 was the worst year of job growth in seven years? Making up crap is fun for you I'm sure, but I don't know who you think you're fooling.
No doubt you’ll make killing, have an outstanding business because of your knowledge, track record and if you incorporate your services you will save huge on taxes.
Actually according to my accountant my taxes aren't likely to be affected by much at all, seeing that I own an S-Corp. But saving some money on taxes won't be what determines if I hire more employees.

Whenever you're ready to pony up your tax returns for last year I'll do the same. What's the hold up? You didn't bother doing any returns the past few years working as a waiter at Ruby Tuesday?
