I am going to try to objective here. While it is childish, and extraordinarily irresponsible preposterous garbage, it really shows how out of touch folks are with reality in regards to this president.
The GOP was big time against Bill Clinton, and Obama; I can remember the right going after Bill on the Monica thing foaming at the mouth, and the left with GWB...but nothing close to what we are seeing today.
I get that Trump is an ass, and an instigator, and needs to learn to keep his mouth shut. But beyond that he is not doing no worse a job as President than past presidents, in many cases he is very effective and a hard worker...even if one disagrees with his positions and polices. And without putting blame here on pass presidents, he inherited a very dangerous and ignored world, in regards to the NK's, and Iranians. He seems to be paying attention to these issues and will hopefully make the right decisions, I can only hope he keisters his cell phone.

Where do you get the impression he works hard? Executive time? Golfing? Not reading intelligence briefings? Ignorance of the contents of bills before Congress?

You may have a point there -- Trump isn't Hitler, if only because of a difference in cultural climate. If, for example, white nationalism was stronger in the US and there was a call to create internment centers for certain classes of US residents, would he have the moral or political courage to stand up to it? I really wish I could say 'yes,' as I could with former Presidents both GOP and Democrat. But in all honesty I simply can't (and I really hope I'm wrong). While it is childish, and extraordinarily irresponsible preposterous garbage, it really shows how out of touch folks are with reality in regards to this president.
Now, that may be alarmist. But at the same time: before you dismiss the possibility that such a thing could ever happen in America, I will remind you that it already has happened in America. There are many great things about this country, but I to view our nation's present and future without a cautionary glance to the past is to let America be nothing more than a lie we tell ourselves.
If we have any appreciation at all for the lessons of history, the fact that we have a President who is -- to put it very politely indeed -- evidently tone deaf to concerns about broadcasting winks at xenophobic notions should rightly give us pause.

Have you seen the turnover in the White House? Have you see the damage he has done to various parts of the government, like the State Department? Have you seen totally unqualified people become judges and cabinet secretaries? Have you seen his total unwillingness to confront Russian influence in our elections, regardless of whether or not it helped his candidacy? Did you see the man who can't read a briefing paper, who has to have propaganda spoon-fed to him on Fox & Friends?
I can't say I know the biographies of all American Presidents, but Trump appears to be intellectually incapable of adapting to the different reality of being President. He seems to suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect, where he consistently overestimates his own understanding and competency. He's 71 years old. This is not going to change.
If Trump were to die of a heart attack tomorrow, I think he would be assessed by most historians as the worst President in the history of the United States.
And whoever said that Trump was worse that Hitler, that is just flat-out wrong. Hitler liked dogs.

probably, but it was the first thing that came to my mind. I am not saying Trump is the new Hitler, but Trump is using some of the tactics that Hitler used.

I think it was David Frum who recently said that what you're willing to accept in your leader says a lot about your character. We know much about the "character" of not only Drumpf supporters, but also his enablers.
Republicans and all their faithful voters have forever lost the moral high ground (or, that is, the pretense of having the moral high ground). Not only are they not that bright, but they're also slimy.

One can argue he is exposing corruption in the state department, and certainly the justice department and the Democratic party.
Can you show me he is doing nothing? Where was Obama when the Russians hacked the system under his watch? What did Obama do in his 8 years to "confront" this. Russian meddling goes back to Eisenhower...it is nothing new, and my guess is Obama did less than all the others all the way back to Eisenhower, even give the technology we have today. Anyways, what did Obama do to combat Russian meddling,do you believe he was just ignorant of it for 7.8 years?

You can't assess a president historically, until years or decades later, especially after only 1 year. Impossible. If he died today, and history was written asap, you are probably correct, in that he pisses off everybody. But he would get good grades in several areas if one can be objective with him, and look past his being a jerk. LOL... he certainly does not help himself.
What will Clinton, GWB and Obama be known for, my guess is not much? But Trump will either be a Goat, or he will turn things around that the last three screwed up. History will let us know down the road.
