Like many other public figures before her, Sarah Palin was tricked into being interviewed by a Sacha Baron Cohen character. Tricking Sarah Palin isn't a huge accomplishment, and I'm sure Cohen doesn't consider it a huge accomplishment, but I don't think even he expected her to publicly complain about it. Most of his victims just ignore him after being duped. Fool me once, shame on you. But not Palin.
“I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick ‘humor’ of the British ‘comedian’ Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime,” she wrote.
This allowed him to get into character and reply:

Cohen certainly pushes the envelope with his comedy, and I understand why conservatives/republicans would dislike him because they are frequently his target. Personally, I think he's hilarious.
