I guess that they weren’t so ADA-incompatible after all. Imagine that.

They are, it's just that Black people hate disabled people. Duh.

No. The point is the idea of Black voter suppression in Randolph county is as absurd as it's for disabled voter suppression, which you just underscored nicely by reminding us mail-in ballots are easily available.

Then again, it's only a matter of time we're reintroducing slavery if the White people in Randolph county are allowed to vote, because rural+white = Nazi slavers. Maybe the commission was just trying to thwart another holocaust?

Hmm. And all this time I thought the point was EA took a position so you had to take a contrary one, but then totally fumbled it. But you're committed, I guess. Even if that is to dismissing blatant systemic voter suppression. So keep tossing those rocks into the brush in the hopes people will squirrel off after it.

Americans with Disabilities Act Author: Kemp Has Failed to Comply with ADA

Former Congressman Tony Coelho, Author of ADA, Says Kemp Associate Sought to Violate Federal Civil Rights Law

ATLANTA – Today, Tony Coelho, the principal author of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), condemned the voter suppression tactics of Republican candidate for governor Brian Kemp. Coelho said that Kemp, who refuses to step down from overseeing the election in which he is a candidate, has failed to comply with the ADA and protect the rights of Georgians with disabilities.

“Mr. Kemp has failed his responsibility to ensure that all polling locations in the State of Georgia are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act,” said Coelho.“Worse, his associate callously tried to use the ADA as a justification for closing polling locations entirely, which is a violation of the law I and others worked so hard to pass.”

“Voters, especially voters with disabilities, should not be forced to travel 30 miles to vote simply because Mr. Kemp has failed to do his job,” Coelho added.

Mike Malone, a longtime Kemp associate and donor, consulted with the Randolph County Board of Elections following a recommendation by Kemp’s office earlier this year. Malone, who said he was directed by Kemp to “recommend polling closures” across Georgia pushed for closing seven of the nine Randolph County polling locations due to non-compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

I'm sorry, but are either one you voting for Ms. Abrams this election cycle?

Who's forcing anyone to travel 30 miles to vote? My paralyzed brother mails his ballot. Why? Because it's easy and accommodates his disability. That statement is 100% gratuitous fatuousness.

Not that facts matter right now...

Giving your post more legitimacy than it deserves, the Republican control of Governorships and state legislatures over the last decade was the result of a national strategy. Voter suppression isn't only a local issue. It's not to Republicans and it shouldn't be for Democrats.

 the guy who wrote the ADA is objecting to its mis-use as a tool to suppress voting. Take it up with him if you think his comment is "100% gratuitous fatuousness."

 I'm having a hard time keeping a straight face as I copy your quote. But, by all means, go down swinging.

I'll take that as a 'no.' Thank god the good denizens of Randolph county have you to take up their cause! Without your posting on this forum I have no idea how they could've overturned the attempt to take away a few hundred net votes in rural Georgia!

Hey, I understand the good people of Venezuela are in dire need of representation on this forum. Got any thoughts how we can save them from our anti-Socialist agenda that tanked their economy?
