Excerpts from Meghan McCain's eulogy for her father. There was plenty more than this but still...
"We gather here to mourn the passing of American greatness. The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly," the senator's daughter Meghan McCain said in a stunning eulogy laced with grief, anger, pride and love.
"The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again, because America was always great," she said, before being interrupted by an outburst of spontaneous applause at McCain's memorial service at Washington's National Cathedral on Saturday.
It was the most cutting moment of a funeral that operated on two levels. First, it was a farewell to a warrior, a senator, a friend and a father. But the service was also a prolonged allegory that served to highlight McCain's character, and by comparison, to condemn the politics of personality of Donald Trump.
They forgot the part where she did it right in front of Trump's daughter and SIL. The entire eulogy, on so many levels, was glorious!

and what happens to the money that has accumulated?
That's pretty easy. That money was spent on other things a long time ago.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Your daily reminder that Ajax used to frequently write about the moral superiority of his race as a justification for racial discrimination. He imagines himself to be morally superior.
I wonder when Trump is up in the night tweeting if he ever thinks about his own death and his legacy.
DJT will will always be remembered by me as a winner against all odds, when we had forgotten what it was like to win.
The Republicans forgot how to win right before DJT came along?? Trump's Presidential victory was a surprise. However, it was just two years before Trump won enough Electoral votes to win the Presidency that Republicans won nine Senate seats including defeating five Incumbent Democratic Senators during the 2014 mid-term elections. I certainly hope so.
But Trump while campaigning promised that he wouldn't cut Social Security. Would Trump have gotten enough Electoral votes to win the Presidency is he didn't promise that he would not cut SS, Medicaid and Medicare?? I don't think that Trump could have won Florida, Pennsylvania and Michigan if he didn't make that promise.

It may be that our President has more skills than one. I have found his most notable skill to be creating cute insults. It starts an invitation to return the favor...deleting... deciding that I am not as skilled in his area of expertise.
How will Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall remember him and the other women who Stormy Daniel's lawyer says there were NDAs with remember him? The guy from the National Inquirer had a safe full on embarrassing docs and looks like they are cooperating with Mueller. Trump is going to be up there with Joseph Smith with the number of women he has been involved with. They could tell us if there is a correlation between his handsize and penis. He said "There is no problem I guarantee it". Then we can get started of his lawyer Rudy. No 4 now. and of course there is Don Junior. The apple does not fall far from the tree.

The US shouldn't celebrate a senator that voted for the Iraq invasion. As of right now McCain is still worse than Donald Trump. McCain knew that Iraq was not a threat to the US. https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/ ... e4b16f6b60

Honestly what the Hell is wrong with people?
Your enemies enemy is your friend in politics. And voting to keep Obamacare and open borders was more fresh on the left's mind than what McCain did decades ago. On this board it's similar to Brackite teaming up with Kevin Graham. Kevin is a democratic socialist. Brackite doesn't like enormous budgets for state employees and probably wouldn't favor the tax rates Kevin would implement if he had his way. But both of them want open borders. Both believe climate change is the biggest threat to our national security as opposed to any foreign regime or government. And most importantly, both of them hate Donald Trump and those who support him.

Not a single person who posts here wants "open borders." Not everyone who opposes your highly restrictive immigration views or obscenely draconian, and in some cases outright evil, enforcement strategies wants "open borders."
