what difference does a wall make then? Its like 1/10 of a percent of the budget....why do you even care if the wall gets built? I mean, can you even compose an argument why the wall shouldn't be built?...you already admit that there is wall, and you admit that wall can work in places and maybe not in others.

The wall makes no difference, it is just pissing money away to satisfy a minority group of Trump sucking morons like you. $5.6 billion won't build a 2,000 mile wall, it is just a slippery slope taste to get started on the foundation. Once you start funding it, funding will have to continue and it is likely to exceed $40 billion. All for nothing because a wall does nothing and only people who don't understand physics are the ones who don't get it. All it will do is provide a large monument celebrating our racism and stupidity. After all, no border along the Canadian line, right? I'm sure you can google an example of someone crossing the Canadian line illegally and then killing an American citizen. But its those brown people you're worried about. Must suck to live in a political/religious world where you're taught to self-loathe. You probably believe you were sinful in the preexistence.

What makes this all the more stupid is that, as pointed out by Wallace in the above link about his interview with Sanders, almost all real and likely terrorists coming into this country that were apprehended, were apprehended at airports. TSA employees are among those federal employees not getting paid due to the shutdown, and are among the most likely to fail to report to work or quit out of frustration and economic necessity to find some other source of income. This is far more likely to adversely affect national security than failure to build Trump's stupid wall! The wall, if finally built, will stand mainly as a monument to Trump's monumental ego and stupidity!

Watch the 45 second mark where they go down to an existing wall and interview a Hidalgo County officials who say it just doesn't work.

"As you can see it isn't holding them. It is a very impractical thing. It is a very expensive thing to construct, and it doesn't work."

There is also that argument that the land is mostly privatized, and you can't build a federal wall on private land without stealing it, which takes years to accomplish in the courts.

The wall is stupid. It doesn't work. It is expensive. And it serves no purpose other than to rile up racist morons like Trump's base. That's it. He wants it for political reasons. The American people don't want it and they shouldn't be forced to pay for it especially after the person who wanted it in the first place promised them that they wouldn't have to.
