I think we probably should look real hard at Israel and Saudi Arabia regarding meddling. The first bill out of the gate this year was an anti-disparaging Israel bill because of the horrendous treatment of the Palestinians. Israel is also trying to push us into war with Iran. Further, Trump vetoes the Yemen war bill and I heard reports that Saudi Arabia entered into long term rentals at some Trump hotels prior to the vote. I haven't tracked down the story but that quid pro quo and the looking the other way on Khashogi are certainly more impeachable than anything he did with Russia. But our entire government is in bed with the Israelis and Saudis, so, nothing will probably come of it.

I would agree that pushing these observations about the Middle East players you’ve mentioned - into the light of day for better public exposure - would be a smart strategy, but that is also a different conversation that can happen simultaneous to others, including keeping the pressure on Trump re: obstruction.
