This is likely a difficult question for him, given his posts in this thread. I don’t think he’ll be able to answer it. ; )

So, admittedly I wrote in the OP:
"So Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez promotes that we should all live within our means...and for her, a former bartender, her new salary of $145k is not enough means...at least not enough means to keep her honest. So, has she and the fresh class of liberal darlings finally exposed their true inadequacies? Shall we season with another liberal darling's tax fraud and campaign finance violations? Or is there another perspective here?"

So, while my questions in context and pertaining to actual facts on hand are ignored, you would prefer we take a longer route around the barn to the woodshed whereas you effectively want to attack the messenger...as if my view on what "dark money loopholes" are relevant top what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is proposing ([urlhttp://mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=1184678#p1184678]ergo my dumbing it down to moving part #1 here[/url]).

Nevertheless, for your edification (and with a bit of fading hope that you, or any of you, would respond in kind to any question to you upthread):
1. While I am familiar with 'dark money', I am unaware of what a dark money loophole is or if it exists - but I am pretty sure that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez considers them real and is using them as hostages for a salary bump.
2. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez using "loophole" implies that there is some sort of law at play, but i am unaware of the law she is referencing - but such a notion provides possibility for criminal activity with regards to the sworn oath of office and duties for a US Representative.

What you wrote above is just you making up stuff. It doesn't actually interface with what she said. It seems entirely composed of right-wing media confabulations regarding Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

So, while my questions in context and pertaining to actual facts on hand are ignored, you would prefer we take a longer route around the barn to the woodshed

Meaning it pulls you back to what she actually said rather than your made-up BS? ok, whatever it takes to get you there I guess.

Wow. No wonder you don't understand her post. You couldn't bring enough understanding to the table to do the most basic unpacking needed to actually engage it at face value.

Enjoy your right-wing made-up BS, subbie. Apparently it's all you've got.

Well, that’s a refreshing change from your usual word salads. You should post this way more often - just avoid the pics with obvious photoshop editing. : )

That would require some element of honesty from him.

There’s some seriously spasmatic dancing going on here from subs, but I don’t see that it’s helping to detangle the mess he’s spun himself up into.

So its clear for subbie, you aren't asking questions about what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said so the answers you are getting are basically telling you this. You want your questions answered, tie them to what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez actually said. Try using direct quotes to make sure you're getting it right.

Regarding dark money loopholes, they refer to the ability of special interests to essentially funnel cash to political campaigns where the special interest is hiding behind shells to prevent the actual interests being known. Dark money is essentially a loophole in campaign finance. It's not referring to something that is found within dark money contributions as a catagory.

So, you disagree with my premise that her quote in the OP proposes that a CoL for members of Congress promotes honesty?.....so, to you, dark money loopholes have nothing to do with honesty/dishonesty? and as such, dishonesty/honesty are not foundations for Congressional member criminal activity - got it!

Maybe I am reading a different quote in the OP....what do you think she said?

Oh, cool...you don't know what she is talking about either.

This is tough for you, but it’s super simple for others.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s sentiment is straightforward: lawmakers continually denied a CoL wage adjustment could rely increasingly on dark money support, (which is not necessarily illegal or ‘honest’, or ‘dishonest’) but which may place specific lobbyist interests above those of a lawmaker’s larger constituency.

For a guy who has posted as many photoshopped images as you have in promotion of dishonesty, I can see why you want to get caught up in that angle here. But there’s no need to assume that everyone else shares your behavior or perspective.

Direct quote from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that matches your exposition, subbie. It's not hard if it's actually her words and not your own fabrication.
