I love how Trump's cabinet is defending his racism by saying he can't be a racist because he has an Asian woman in his cabinet. This is the classic, "but I have lots of black friends" response. What they don't tell you is the only reason he appointed an Asian woman is because she is Mitch McConnell's wife.

I don't know which is the most disturbing: that Trump has calculated that doubling down on racism and xenophobia will only increase his appeal to his base supporters, or that this calculation is proving to be accurate, as evidenced by the remarks of ajax and other Trump supports on this forum.

My "manner" is relevant to the poster's request, and even more so to my response. It is simply a fact that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called these people racist and it is a consistent behavior from her to characterize America as racist. And the word you are looking for is not "rationalization", it is "justification".
