Heh. A recent poll conducted by ipsos found that (only) 45% of Republicans agree that telling minorities to "go back to the country they came from" is racist.
As others have pointed out, that specific example of racism is listed in the EEOC guidelines as an archetypal example of what racist harassment looks like. I think that low number probably some mixture of Republicans concentrating the clueless racists and partisanship melting people's brains.
