I see that cable news is airing Trump making slanderous, vile comments about Democratic Congressional reps over and over without bothering to provide the context that points out they are slanderous and vile. Probably a better strategy to focus on journalists to stop being terrible at their job than to fret about the public footprint of those Congressional Reps.

P.S. "Second world" means allied with USSR. There are no second world countries now because the Soviet Union does not exist. First world means allied with the US/NATO. It's synonymous with economic development because those countries were industrialized Western nations. When your boy Trump was having a good laugh with Putin denigrating Western liberalism, that was in reference to what we used to call the first world. All the "socialist" countries people like Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez want to emulate are/were part of the first world.

"3rd world" means neither allied with the US/NATO or USSR/Warsaw Pact. 3rd world countries were in the developing world and that's why the term is associated with impoverished backwaters. It's an old term and you are not old enough to be stuck using it.

Sanders' low level staff earn a salary of 36k, which can below $15 an hour if they exceed around 48 hours a week. While Sanders' promises to keep work weeks under this number, it is industry typical to exceed that number, so it looks like Sanders might be running a campaign that pays beneath labor laws that don't exist yet, but he would like to see. Ok. This has led to some pushback from his labor force given the rhetorical ground he stakes out.

This results in Cuba because? Better yet, can you explain how raising the min wage to $15 by the mid 2020's would result in the US collapsing into Stalinism? The usual critique of high min wages is they cause a harmful trade-off between employment, inflation, and real wages while harming the purchasing power of people currently making around the new wage floors. They also tend to hurt small businesses in comparison to large businesses that can better absorb increased labor costs. But I'd love to hear how raising the federal min wage slightly above what it has been in the past would collapse the nation into a totalitarian dictatorship.

I'll grant you this: if Republicans implemented socialism, yes, this country would be an even bigger shithole. They're already doing what they can in that area. They don't need socialism.
