If Trump brings jobs back to the US are those workers going to have to take a pay cut to equal the wages of those who produced in Asia? So what is wrong with encouraging switching to LED light bulbs? You act as if there were something sinister and evil about encouraging their use! Given the fact that they use so much less energy, last so much longer and pay for themselves many times over with the energy saved, one would have to be an idiot to not switch to them, whether they are mandated or not! And this is true whether or not climate change is a hoax! Refusing to switch to them because the government encourages or incentivizes their use is as stupid as insisting on repeatedly hitting yourself on the head with a hammer just because someone you don't like told you not to!
