Some folks are intellectually challenged by the idea of switching to brighter, longer lasting light bulbs that use vastly less of their electricity. Don’t make him think too hard.

Doubly stupid is that all of those angry, chanting folks seem to want to believe that China somehow forced so many hundreds of American manufacturers to move their operations to China, against their will.
And these same folks probably grumble about this on every one of their weekly Wal-mart shopping trips they take to buy cheap Chinese-made crap.

I recall when I was living in NC where electricity was much more expensive than here. I was absolutely astonished at how much I saved by switching to LEDs. I made back the cost in the first month. Why wouldn't anyone use LED bulbs, especially when you can buy them with yellow casings for softer colors? Crazy.

What's funny to me is that China can't really retaliate in this trade war? Why is that? Because they don't buy much from us in the first place. What good is a tarrif on US goods to them if they don't buy much anyway? It's a one sided relationship.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

That, if anything, is all the more reason why Trump's tariffs are so stupid. The fact still remains that we, the American consumers, are paying the tariffs--not China! It is incredible that any of Trump's base supporters are so stupid as to not realize that they, not China, are the ones being the most hurt by these tariffs. This is typical of so many of Trump's policies. No one is hurt more by them than many of Trump's own, sycophantic, diehard supporters!
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

"You interviewed the wrong Farmers." Then he goes on to say Chins is putting "billions and billions" into our economy thanks to his tariffs.
Neil Cavuto basically says Trump makes no sense. If Obama had said this he'd be far less charitable in his critique.
Apparently Trump would even rather be universally perceived as stupid that ever admit to having been mistaken about anything, unless and until he can figure out some face-saving way of changing his mind without admitting he was ever wrong.

In related news Mexico threatens not to allow US citizens into Mexico if we don't offer Mexican nationals ssi and Obamacare.

Back to making up stupid ____ again eh? Oh wait, that's all you do.
Oh please let us into Mexico. We'll do anything to become Mexicans. We're poor redneck WASPs suffering from a lack of diversity. We hate our race, heritage, and culture and want to be hispanisized.
I laughed for about five minutes when I heard a liberal news outlet actually admitting China had no means to fight back in the trade war because they don't purchase any of our goods anyway. It just proves what Trump has been saying all along. What we have now with China is not free trade and it's certainly not fair trade.
