Rules of Patheos: Midgley appears to violate TOS 10x

To his considerable credit, "Dr. Moore" has graciously apologized for his questioning of my integrity.

Have those who questioned Dr. Moore's integrity likewise apologized? After all, he did post a screenshot that clearly shows him as banned (And Shades also, I saw it after I posted this). I believe he was called a liar. In fact, I believe the inflammatory accusations against Dr. Moore, Dr. VB, and Dr. Shades went far beyond any accusations that were leveled at DCP in this matter.

By all means, gentlemen, let's not make history tonight. In the near two decades I've followed Mormon apologetics, I don't believe I've ever seen an apologist apologize for anything, ever. I'm sure Oaks is proud of that track record.

To my knowledge, only Kiwi/Pahoran outright called me (and others) a liar over the glitchy ban ordeal. Were he to apologize, of course I would graciously accept it with a virtual hug.

I would offer that if Dr Midgley and Dr Peterson are sincere about deescalating the anger, then it would go a long way toward that end if they each would find milder euphemisms for “hate site” and ”cesspool”.

a pun! Last time I bothered reading anything by kiwi, he was fixated on oinking and grunting. Going from animal sounds to punning is a massive improvement.

I want to be clear, though: Your hate site is free to be what you want it to be, but I have been very displeased at the intrusion of your hate site into my blog. No more, please.

Except that he is wrong here, and owes us an apology. There has been no intrusion that I'm aware of on his blog from folks at this site. Dr. OMG, Dr. Detroit, Professor Lemming, Brad Anderson -- none of these people have ever posted here that I can tell, based on their writing style and repertoire. It doesn't appear that Dr. VB or Dr. Moore would have discovered this place without his persistent advertising. I have never had another account other than my GPR account with discuss. I've up-voted a handful of posts over there under my GPR account, more than half by mistake as I'm persistently signed in and sometimes it's hard to hover over the right spot to get the list of up-voters and easy to accidentally click.

I had no idea how important up-voting is until Mr. Midgley came unglued over other participants up-voting Gemli, even when he and his friends up-vote each other religiously. Hell, I didn't even know you could see who did the up-voting. I mean, is this eighth grade or something?

I would never post on his blog under any handle, unless Pahoran were to extend an invitation for me to participate, and then I would post for that thread.

If you engage in substantive discussion, you'll be welcome. Personal attacks in the style of your hate site will NOT be welcome.

I think he may like having Shades there if for no other reason, than as an excuse to make reference his "hate site" over and over.

Interesting. It seems that in reading here, Midgley has finally gained some understanding of how inappropriate his posts come off. I’m glad we helped!
