I own my shitposting, yo. Your 12 word essay in response to Dr. Steuss’ funny comment was amazeballs, and merited deep introspection, I’m sure.
Look, if you want to pretend you have some great insight into Biblical symbology that can be transmitted in a quip, don’t let me stop you. Imma keep on posting shithot memes, though.

I simply and literally added one additional fact about alternative interpretation to Steuss' comment. If he wants to pursue it, he will. I have exactly no reason to add more to that than I did much less shove scripture down anyone's throat or force a dialogue about it who hasn't asked for it.

So, it wasn’t unfunny of me to make fun of your hard pivot toward serious dialogue via a self-serious heavy-handed lecture-y quip. What makes this better at this point is your total commitment to your refusal to expand on your point, but rather you oddly snipe at my shitposting on a shitpost-y thread.
That said, Jewish or Hebraic symbolism is well-known in these parts. If you have some insight you think we lack, by all means educate us heathens.

From what trash heap did you pull this?
The very thread you have added this puzzling comment to.

for what it's worth, I took it as an apt response to my weak little jape: Oxyrhynchus 115 was indeed pulled from an ancient trash heap.
I think you are probably familiar with the rest: it contains the oldest extant fragment of Revelation 13 and records the number of the Beast as 616. Aside from that, it hardly mentions Trump at all.
Sorry. It was meant to be a winking reference to Bret's smart comment to acknowledge what he said. I was also influenced by Cam and Jersey Girl's discussion and framed it in that tone. It was probably difficult to decern and too much for such a small fragment of a comment to convey without help.
