Should people be shamed for using foul language?

You tell me. Is foul language shameful? If so, start a movement. See how many people you can get to sign on. If you're successful, it would be fair to say foul language is shameful.

EA has predicted that in the post-Trump era, assuming we don't fall headlong into authoritarianism, very few people will admit to having been Trump supporters. I don't think this is a very inspired prediction (which I imagine EA would admit). I think it's a no-brainer. There will be a time when there will be way too much shame associated with being in the Trump cult.

And shame moves people to act differently.

I wonder if anyone would shame this guy. Maybe over at Breitbart but not here I suppose.

Oh it was already that way before he was elected. That's partly why the polls were so wrong. Trump just said what everyone was seeing and thinking in real life, everything the little men of this world were powerless to say.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

But the last poll before the Nov 8 election had Trump winning in Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Pennsylvania
Trafalgar Group 11/3 - 11/5 Trump +1

Michigan
Trafalgar Group 11/6 - 11/6 Trump +2

Ohio
Emerson 11/4 - 11/5 Trump +7

Clinton was not a clear favorite at all.

You don't seem to understand the point (again).

The number of people who will admit to being a Trump supporter today is significantly larger than the number who will admit it in, say, 10 years. That's the basic prediction, and it's based on the assumption that people will eventually come to their senses and realize their reasons for supporting the douche bag were terribly weak and unwarranted. In other words, they will feel an appropriate level of shame for acting so stupidly.

Many Trump-Obama voters felt that things wouldn't change under Hillary Clinton.

But for many Trump-Obama voters things wouldn't have been that different under Hillary Clinton.

OK, so if your choices are "don't do anything about my shower" or "burn my house down" which one is better?

It's always been strange to me that GOP voters don't seem to care about America's reputation abroad, but then I realized: they don't give a crap about their own personal reputation. They support the GOP, after all.

Shameless.

Average of polls are more predictive than single polls. In the final days, she was ahead enough even in state level polling to be the favorite. Not a strong favorite, but the favorite. Prior to the final days in which there was wall-to-wall coverage of Comey's letter (that turned out to be nothing), her lead was stronger than that.

Your link is literally him being shamed in front of a national audience in a primetime television program. You've already answered your own question.
