As of this moment the Dow is basically 6,000 down from a once high of 29,658. Trump has been bleating at the Fed to drop interest rates to historic lows:
“Our pathetic, slow moving Federal Reserve, headed by Jay Powell, who raised rates too fast and lowered too late, should get our Fed Rate down to the levels of our competitor nations. They now have as much as a two point advantage, with even bigger currency help. Also, stimulate!”
No comment, because what’s the point?

I guess I’ll comment: Trump doesn’t understand aggressive inflation.
But, yes. The market as reflected by the DJIA actually needed adjustment, anyway. I’m sure once things settle down, and the weather warms up the DJIA will take off again, which kind of gets us back in the same boat as before.
