They reported to the lobotomy centers as ordered and became loyal Trumpians.

One thing I noticed again today is how ____ dumb the Trump base is in the comments of that article. If you went on comment threads alone, you'd wonder how Republican voters take care of their own basic needs.
I have to conclude that smart Republicans are too embarrassed to admit that about themselves these days. I never meet them. "Smart Republican" has become an oxymoron, like Military Intelligence or Jumbo Shrimp.
Dumb Republicans, on the other hand, are a dime a dozen. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting an idiot Republican.
That's pretty stupid and sick. Grow up. Are you in the habit of swinging dead cats?

Sheriff's investigators said all 119 false forms were assigned to Hall, a registered Republican, to collect. She worked for Florida First's office in Winter Haven. The woman, Cheryl A. Hall, 63, of Clermont, Fla., worked for Florida First, a voter registration group heavily funded by America First Policies, which supports President Trump.
thanks for confirming that the lady was not actually a Republican official...or any sort of official.

The bigger question is why he hates dead cats so much as to swing them into idiot Republicans.

It's not the dead cats; it's the ignorant Republicans. Perhaps it's because it's hard to accept Republicans are so ignorant, they've never heard the expression, "you can't swing a dead cat..." before.

To be clear to any silent observers who may be wondering...
There are plenty of smart Republicans. My contention is that they are mostly in hiding, perhaps calling themselves something different these days. They certainly aren't the vocal ones on the Internet.
The idiots and assholes are the face of the party. The idiots and assholes are the ones out talking on the GOP's behalf. I'd not sure how anyone could contend that in any serious way.
So when you get these one off examples of people doing crappy things on behalf of the GOP, surprise is not the first reaction.
I've come to the conclusion that most people are purple. They may identify red or blue for labeling purposes, but I suspect most people misunderstand what both parties are about, and have ideals all over the political spectrum.
People specifically supporting Trump and talking him up are in a cult. When you see obvious cult behavior, you can't help but think the people in the cult (not in on the con) are damned rubes. Smart people may join a cult briefly, but will leave it the moment it reveals itself. Dumb people don't like to acknowledge they were misled, and would rather “F” themselves in the long-term than admit it and make it end.
