Thank you! My son, home while his school is transitioning to online, is Skyping and he just showed that picture to a friend of his who is a 6’4”, 300 lb defensive end at a D1 school. He very politely said to me, “[my son]’s Mom, that picture of your cat makes me a little nervous.”

Yeah, so did Michael Jackson.

I love your hallucination story. I'm sure as the virus becomes a big part of our waking consciousness, it will manifest itself in other parts of our lives.

The 3rd party with COVID symptoms had a development in her case that is allowing her to get a COVID test. If that's positive, that should free up my household to do the same.

I'm asymptomatic aside from my persistent occasional cough and brief bouts of shortness of breath that's been going on since I got the flu. I finally got a pulse oximeter that's showing dips during those times, so it isn't all in my head.

Living with a plague is not fun. I would not recommend it.

EA, any chance of her being able to get a scrip for hydroxlchloroquine? Apparently there's buzz coming out of China and South Korea that it shortens duration and improves symptoms, and it's been approved in America to treat Lupus for forever.

Thanks for keeping us posted, hoping you guys have answers soon.

The malaria drug?

No clue on treatment. Things aren't at a point of needing any serious treatment yet. We don't even have a confirmed case at this point.

Hang in there. We’re rooting for you, your partner, and the nurse.

Yes, it's also an anti-malaria drug. Please keep it in mind; my understanding is that treatment is more effective if it's prescribed sooner. I don't think it could hurt. (And hey, it's not like I'm telling her to gargle salt water . . .)

I guess it's what they're using in both China and South Korea now (though China has also reverse-engineered remdesivir for more severe cases and Gilead is pissed. Oh well). It's safe for pregnancy, so it's currently my plan to ask my doctor to prescribe it if I come down with this thing.

Hey people, I'm good. Just tired after my heart racing at 200bpm for 3 hours.

RI thanks for the good wishes!

Lemmie is that some kind of bitchy ceiling cat? Also Target is doing senior and vulnerable shopping hours like Stop and Shop now. I hope to see other stores fall in line with that practice because that would cover some of my family members and ease tension.

MeDot the hallucination was weird. I took that as a heads up that I was taking in far too much. Poor old MJ didn't have the staff I had monitoring him. Propofol is from God! Write that down.

Went with limited screen time as planned. Sort of disconnecting a little.

I figured out a way to block certain folks from Messenger (at least I think I did) who are constantly sending me BS about CV or some other stuff I don't care about. They are both relatives. Too bad. So sad. They're gone!

As to living under CV--I missed one of my RX's, have it ordered at Walmart and am going to use their drive up service for the first time ever once I decide to go pick it up. I had a small list of random items to purchase but I decided to table that idea and just get what I need from outside the store.

Check you out later!

The school district was offering a drive-through breakfast/lunch thing from 9:30 - 12:30. We don't need it financially, but the stores have been bare of essentials like milk and bread. So I waited until the end of the window (to make sure I didn't take a meal from someone who really needs it) and drove through. They dropped a bunch of sack lunches and breakfasts through my passenger side window, no questions asked.

It's good to get these little bits of help here and there.

Glad to hear it, and
 Nope, just my cute little tonkinese giving me the stank-eye for disturbing her when all she wants to do is just sit on the window sill behind the blinds!
