The "Reporter" falsely quotes a statement by Trump.
Trump calls it false, and then the Reporter actually READS Trump's actual statement, thus he has it in front of him, to where Trump even directly states he's not talking about himself, etc.

So let me get this straight, the journalist quotes Trump in context and you're moaning about it? Trump says he "cut it off" but he didn't. The fact is Trump cut him off and didn't let him finish. But the context still doesn't change the fact that Trump clearly rewards those who kiss his ass and "say nice things" about him like Cuomo did. It doesn't change the fact that states everywhere are begging for supplies from the Federal government but only Florida, Trump's new home state where we have a Republican governor who is a Trump bootlicker, is getting everything it needs. And as soon as DeSantis makes a dumb claim about New Yorker's coming to Florida in droves to spread Coronavirus, Trump threatens to quarantine the entire state of New York. Of course once he realized that would be illegal he suddenly "decided" that wouldn't be a good idea.

Trump only attacks Democrat governors and he goes off on them with personal insults that have nothing to do with the coronavirus.

As far as Trump lying or refusing to answer simple questions, this is his standard MO when it comes to press conferences. Just yesterday this happened when Trump denied saying something he did say on FOX:

Journalist: "You've said repeatedly that some of the equipment Governors requested they don't actually need. You said they may not need 30,000..."

Trump interrupting: "No I didn't"

Journalist: "You said it on Sean Hannity's FOX News."

Trump interrupting: "Why don't you people act. Let me ask you. Why don't you act in a little more positive. It's always trying to getcha. Getcha getcha. And you know what that's why nobody trusts the media anymore."

Journalist: "My question for you is..."

Trump: "That's why you used to work for the Times and now you work for somebody else. Look let me tell ya something. Be nice. Don't be threatening. Don't be threatening. Be nice."

Here is another instance where he avoids answering a simple question by going off on an unhinged rant.

Journalist: "You’ve also said that at one point that you thought more people might die from the economic tragedies, and the economic problems in America due to the coronavirus outbreak, what health officials are telling you that?"

Trump: "I could ask Dr. Fauci to come up, but it’s common sense. You’re going to have massive depression, meaning mental depression, you’re going to have depression in the economy also, but you’re going to have mental depression for people, you’re going to have large numbers of suicides, take a look at what happens in a really horrible recession or worse, so you’re going to have tremendous suicides, but you know what you’re going to have more than anything else? Drug addiction. ... You will see drugs being used like nobody’s ever used them before, and people are going to be dying all over the place from drug addiction ... So, when you ask me that, it’s so easy to figure that, I mean, massive drug use, massive depression, mental depression, massive numbers of suicide, anxiety causes disease, they say, a lot of people …"

Notice that Trump never answered the question because no health professionals have told him this nor have they supported this. It is some idiotic remark he heard on FOX News and he ran with it as factual. What this also tells us is what Trump thinks about the American workers. He believes we're so mentally weak that a few months without a job means we'll start abusing drugs and eventually start killing ourselves from depression. There is absolutely no logic or evidence to support this, let alone "common sense."
