What would have happened if the watching crowd had rushed forward and pushed the murdering officer off the neck of Mr Floyd?

Would his colleagues have shot them dead?

Asking for a friend.
In a New York minute, sir.

Thanks ma'am.

(I feared as much, but I thought it would be proper to seek the view of a native informant before making assumptions.)

If what seems to be happening there did actually happen, the policeman was deliberately killing that man.

But the man under the policeman's knee was black.

So whatever happened, the policeman in question is unlikely to be charged with any offence, is he?
Yet he was charged with murder ya blowhard. Maybe it was your online cynical outrage that solved the problem...yep, that was what did it.

So, a bit more detail has come out regarding Floyd:

https://ibb.co/qB5StSL

Could he have suffered a heart attack from prolonged drug use? I haven’t seen an autopsy, yet. Regardless, kneeling on a dude’s neck, after he’s been subdued, and not repositioning him after he complained about difficulty breathing seems to have warranted the charges Officer Chauvin received.

There was NO reason for LE to wait days to arrest the officer in question while the nation erupted in protests and riots, you stupid “F”.

Oh and by the way, there were a total of 3 officers kneeling on Floyd's back including the one on his neck.

He was asphyxiated on camera.

Had he survived, the conduct of the officer(S) would have been actionable.

There were 3 kneeling on his body. Three officers kneeling on the body of an unarmed suspect who was already in cuffs.

Kneeling on the man's neck was not to restrain. It was to punish. True, the officers did not get up that morning with the intention of killing a man. But when a human being tells you "I can't breathe", and that human being is handcuffed on the ground, and you are an armed police officer in the company of 3 other armed police officers, and you do not get off the man's neck for nearly 10 minutes, do you need to know the man's underlying medical history before you remove your knee from his neck? What's you defense? "Your honor, if I had known he had a heart condition I would have knelt on his neck for 5 minutes, not 10?

Here’s MN’s statute for murder in the third degree:

609.195 MURDER IN THE THIRD DEGREE.

(a) Whoever, without intent to effect the death of any person, causes the death of another by perpetrating an act eminently dangerous to others and evincing a depraved mind, without regard for human life, is guilty of murder in the third degree and may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than 25 years.

(b) Whoever, without intent to cause death, proximately causes the death of a human being by, directly or indirectly, unlawfully selling, giving away, bartering, delivering, exchanging, distributing, or administering a controlled substance classified in Schedule I or II, is guilty of murder in the third degree and may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than 25 years or to payment of a fine of not more than $40,000, or both.

How.

https://breaking911.com/im-not-even-cho ... rontation/

You’d think that right in the middle of a police brutality murder an officer wouldn’t LITERALLY CHOKE A SUSPECT WITH HIS BARE HANDS.

I swear I’m almost at the point of wanting all departments dissolved and placed under a federal agency to ensure hiring, training, and policing are at the very least somewhat uniform.

The White House is on lock down now.

Disregard. Lifted 3 minutes ago.

Day late and a $ short over here. But oh holy crap, look for the pics of the protest in DC and elsewhere.
