DT I had to do some investigation on the above. Jamaican's are of African descent. So Kamala Harris is indeed African American.

Well that would mean Obama isn't an African American since his ancestors were never slaves. More than likely they sold and profited from selling neighboring Africans as slaves to be sent to the the US.

None of that really matters now. They all get the same taxpayer funded subsidies and affirmative action benefits whether their ancestors were slaves or slave traders.
