"We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and 'villages' that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable."

The number of folks who (1) think this means BLM is out to destroy the nuclear family, and (2) are outraged, is just absolutely baffling.

OK, I'll take this mind-fart seriously for about 10 seconds.

What is so strange and anomalous about Black Lives Matter demonstrations and other activity that it needs some kind of special explanation in terms of being 'Funded By Somebody''?

Are the demonstrations full of people who, when questioned, say they have no idea what it's about, and they don't want to answer any questions? Do we have account of buses touring black neighbourhoods and herding black people into them, promising 50 dollars each for an afternoon's outing? No?

What I want to know is, who is funding DrC?

This is called begging the question. Anyone can purport to speak on the behalf of an organic social movement. I claimed that BLM as such doesn't have the organization necessary for there to be branches and chapters that can speak for people who engage in social advocacy under the label black lives matter as a whole.

It makes sense to talk about BLM like one might talk about "the civil rights movement." There's organization and leadership within it, and more and less credible voices who can speak to what people are thinking, but it's not a single organization as such. It's an umbrella term for a movement whose energy specific organizations certainly would like to have control over.

The idea that everyone in the streets shouting black lives matter are participating in some commandeered organizational structure like it's the teamsters borders on ridiculous.

The Madison protests have these small groups with pompous names that claim to speak on behalf of the protests and act as the leaders of it. They work very hard, and with some success, to make media contacts so their voice is portrayed as thee voice of everyone marching. But they made that up. They didn't organize the protests per se and people in the streets aren't necessarily affiliated with them or what they say they're about. They're trying to use everyone's common support of protesting against racial discrimination and police abuse to imply their specific agenda has that backing. You don't *have* to play their game that way though. They're leaders in a big tent full of lots of interlocking, amorphous groups with varying degrees of organization and common goals.

It's leftwing speak for the kind of extended family and shared child-rearing social circle arrangements people, especially Church-going folk, often normally have.

They're perpetually at war with conforming to an image of a nuclear family that most people don't exist in anyway.
