Thanks for typing all that up, DoctorCamNC4Me. That was very interesting. . . and disturbing.
Disturbing, you say? What an understatement! It's downright terrifying to any and all who still cherish democracy, freedom and equality under the law! If the GOP/Trumpist party succeeds in this scheme, and Trump is reelected and the GOP retains a majority in the Senate, and especially if Ginsberg dies and is replaced by another Trump Toady, we will be saddled with a Corrupt, racist Despot as President and a Senate and Judiciary that will cheerfully rubberstamp virtually any corrupt and destructive, self-serving idea that Trump decides to implement. It will be nearly impossible to vote them out of office because of the GOP's successful suppression of the votes of any unlikely to vote Republican.

He is also taking the approach of preparing to call the election invalid due to the amount of mail-in voting, should he lose.
And I would bet that even if the Democrats win by a huge and decisive majority, he would still try to contest the election, by trying to claim that the huge margin of victory was only further proof that the election was rigged.

It probably is an impeachable offense and the Republicans who condone such actions in the US Senate should be voted out, provided the people are allowed a means to vote.
Not even close to an impeachable offense.
Trying to disenfranchise voters in order to stay in office sounds like a high crime and misdemenor to me. The veniality required to harm the Post Office in this way should count double. Even better, double secret impeachment (televise it on all channels except for Fox)!!!

While Trump doesn't want to increase funding for the Post Office to help with an increase with mail-in ballots, his administration is continuing to illegally fund his destructive wall.

I just read a blurb that said if you want your vote to count you need to mail it by Tuesday, October 20. That's the first day I can send the ballot in here in Utah, and I suspect the same is true for other states as well. I don't know how accurate this is as far as giving the crippled post office enough time to distribute, but mine is going the 20th no matter what.

The good news is that in most states, you don't need to return your absentee ballot through the mail. Link

Yep. I think there are something like 5 states that do mail in voting. Here in CO we have drop off boxes for return.

Well, if you had a ____ brain, you'd know it would be a defense for his voter suppression tactics by hamstringing the USPS.
Nope, no voter suppression proven or even witnessed. You can't even provide an anecdote for how Trump's USPS policy(s) have influenced anything related to voting.
He knows Biden is mopping the floors with him and he could be looking at an embarrassing loss with a legit election,
Meh, Biden is at the same spot Hillary Clinton was at this time in 2016, so maybe im skeptical of your "assessment".

but like any good autocrat, he's trying to use this COVID tragedy to his advantage to retain power by making it more difficult for Democrats to vote.
Well, that's just a stupid post. Republicans don't vote by mail? Not to mention, again. there is no rational argument for anyone being denied the ability to vote in November.
You just want an opportunity to commit fraud, because in 2016 you could not accept the results of a bona fide election.

You know, those people who take the virus seriously and don't want to wait in long lines for hours, which is typically the case in Democrat districts.
CFR and then CFR for Nov 2020.

He's even said his home state of Florida should vote mail-in... why? Because it has a Republican governor, he said. He expects and demands loyalty from these spinless dweebs.

Yawn, you're posts are growing more emotional and ignorant of fact. But its clear that you truly believe that you know whats "really" going on.

And full of wild speculation, tin foil hats, and actual facts.
Doc, like many Democrats wants to confuse mail-in voting with absentee voting. The latter is more secure while the former is susceptible to fraud and error.

Subby, the idea that there is any fundamental difference between absentee voting and mail-in voting is only one of many self-serving myths invented by Trump. If you believe otherwise, you are hopelessly naïve. Why do you so easily accept as true anything that comes out of that man's mouth? He is by far the most ignorant and pathologically dishonest, not to mention openly corrupt President in history. One has to be willfully blind and ignorant to not see that. Even GW Bush seems like a genius compared to Trump!

By the way, Even GW is so convinced of that, that he has openly declared that he would rather vote for Biden, than support Trump's reelection! His Brother, Jeb, has said he is voting for Biden for sure. GW voted for neither Hillary nor Trump, even in the 2016 election, and his father, G.H.W. actually voted for Hillary in 2016, so disgusted was he with Trump!
